Kind of perfect cover up! Fabric is soft and sits nicely on the body. Its light and airy but not see through. I wear street size 10/12, 5'4" and 36DD and I got the Size 2 L-2XL. this falls right in the middle of my thigh. Not a dress by any means but perfect to throw on at the beach or pool to get out of the sun or just have some extra coverage. The sides are open and there is some flexibility on wearing this totally straight or off the shoulder a little, but this didnt go fully off the shoulder like some photos. When this arrived, I fell in love. Well made, flattering, comfortable, all the things it was supposed to be except for the most important for me. I am over 65, and this cover up (IMHO) is made for someone much younger. I love to dress in the latest styles. I don't dress like an old lady, but this just didn't work for me. It made me look as if I was TRYING to look younger, way younger, so on me it was not flattering. It didn't accent the best parts of me, but instead looked as if I shouldn't be wearing it. It looks very Texas style and though I don't care for the baubles, they are perfect for the right person. All this is just my opinion, otherwise I highly recommend. This cover up is really cute. Very pretty, but would look nicer with flat white or black appliqué at front. Instead, it’s bright white, shiny, really stands out. I like that it comes to my knees, but I know some people like a coverup to be shorter. Fabric is just right to me, not too thin or thick. Not clingy at all! I liked this navy blue cover-up because it's a pretty color and I don't think it's chiffon, as in, see through, although it's just a little bit see through if you look really hard. The lace seems to be sewn down pretty good. It actually looks kind of elegant. I haven't worn it or washed it yet, but I plan to wash it in cold water and hang to dry. I'm not a big fan of polyester, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be clingy, or will easily wrinkle. I'm looking forward to wearing it. I ordered a size OX - 2X Update: I wore it at the beach in Hawaii. The bottom part got wet in the waves. I even wore it in the grocery store over my bathing suit and it wasn't too see-through. I ordered the black with white pompoms but it is actually black with gray which look a little cheap. I probably should have stuck with the black with black pompoms. The gray ones look a little cheap. I kept this in the bag and only opened it when I got on vacation otherwise I would have returned it. It was nice and fit well. it's a little short to just walk around in though, but that's just my opinion. Read more

Purchased for a cruise. Fit was comfortably loose, which was what I was looking for. Crochet pattern on front was the selling point for me. I have washed it twice in washing machine and both times, I put it inside a delicates bag because I'm afraid the crochect part will get 'roughed up' if not protected. After washing, I let it air dry on a hanger. So far, it looks as good as when it was first purchased. If you want to be extra careful, I would suggest hand washing.
