Fantastic mat. I did need to buy a additional knee pad for longer stretches and poses on my knees though. Younger or lighter people will probably be fine w/o that. I used this for 90 minutes a day for 60 days straight trying to get my mobility back to some degree and this mat takes the pounding. Now down to using 5x a week and still working great. Read more

I found these yoga mats to be a good value, being older I find the extra width perfect. As a beginner at yoga to help with flexibility the wide mat is a God send as I am not capable of doing a lot of the poses as closely as one should. I'm already in love with this mat after less than a week! After a back injury I have a daily physical therapy program and this is just the ticket. When at a hotel I request an extra flat sheet which I use folded in half under this mat so the mat stays clean (who knows what's in that carpet - even at a nice hotel?!) While I'm a size 8 petite woman, I find this "oversized" mat is "just right" for me to position and re-position myself between the various exercises. Nice dense foam provides excellent cushion, especially from the concrete under the hotel carpet. It works great with the "Creative yoga mat strap sling" which itself impressed the heck out of me (reviewed separately). Some reviews complained of an odor but I find its like a new car - no more than I would expect. Read more

I love this mat. It is wide and roomy enough for me to not only do yoga, but pilates and standard floor exercises as well. The mat has just enough cushion to spare my knees, elbows and palms. It did have a plastic smell when I first opened it(which is to be expected from a new mat) but I wiped it down with diluted apple cider vinegar and a few drops of essential oils, and it smells fine now. Nice grip, doesnt slide on the floor and works really well outdoors also. I am 5"10 and wear a women's size 20 and this mat leaves me plenty of space. I love it. I have had it for several months now with no tears, rips or damages. I would definitely buy another one if I needed to. Read more

I’ve recently got back into my yoga practice, but found my old mat too narrow and I was constantly readjusting my grip due to slippage. This mat is super wide has a nice feel to it perfect thickness and eliminated any slipping. I also bought a fabric non-grip mat to help absorb any sweat. Love love love this mat. Highly recommend it! This yoga mat is great. This is my first ever yoga mat and I think it works wonderfully. I workout in my basement on a concret floor and really needed a comfortable support to jump around on. I though extra wide was a good idea and turns out it was. All though it wasnt as wide as I was expecting (should of checked dimensions) it still provided enough area for me to do jumping squats and other plyometric exercises without worrying about my landing. It is pretty comfortable too without slippage when planning on the mat. I enjoy this product and use it like every day. Read more
