I’ve tried a number of different hubs and smart home devices and Yolink wins hands down. With over 72 Yolink devices ranging from switches to hubs to fobs to smart plugs and more. Many of which have been in service for 2+ years. Yolink devices are extremely easy to deploy and easily integrate into Google home and Home Assistant – but I use the Yolink app 95% of the time. Battery life is unbelievable – changed my first battery yesterday. Most of the devices are still showing 50%. Even more impressive is the range – even with the device inside a metal postal box and hundreds of feet from the house. This remote turns on/off only Yolink devices. It communicates directly with Yolink devicea. The remote does not use the Yolink hub. Please note, this remote does NOT work with Alexa. It is very easy to setup. Press the setup button on the device, then press the "On" button on the remote to link/match to on the remote. The light on the remote will flash denoting when it is linked. How I use it, about every few weeks, sometimes more often, my ISP box on the outside of the house needs to be reset, other words, it needs to be powered off then back on. When this happens, Alexa is useless for turning devices on and off. I use a Yolink plug on the ISP box. I press the off button matching the plug to remotely power off the ISP box, wait a minute and power it back on. Much easier than go8ng out to the utility room, moving items on the shelf, unplug it, wait, plug it back in. I also use it for several lights at night, when I do not want to wake anyone up using verbal commands. It has been working great so far, without any issues. Read more
I have over 40+ Devices Running A kennel. And I have 5 remotes operating 25 heat lamps, A number of fans, outdoor lights, indoor led lights, three heaters, shop lights, water fill station, contolls water for a sink (with yolink float switch) too. And for fun i set a system up to tell me when the mail box is opened. So what the problem? One of the remotes went down and Yolink Discontinue making them. So no replacement. And all yolink has to say sorry for the Inconvenience. They offered me two control Remote replacement. Well it would take three of them to mak up for the 5 device control Remote. Would you want to have all those in your pocket? And find the right 1 to turn on the light To the front door? In my case In the Stable? And inside the stable I have 5 of the five device control remote. Yeah. And the 2 Control Remote Is $5 cheaper Then the 5 control Remote. They are not cheap. Read more

I own multiple Yolink products, and all, work very well. I use this remote to turn on/off an outside water fountain and pond fountain from inside the house when required. I've bought most of Yolinks products because their phone app and the eco system they built is great. Don't fuss around with ZigBee or anything else. This is the way to go. Read more
