Love these socks - we keep buying them. They fit my boys larger feet and my large-for-a-lady feet nicely and stay in place without constricting. The most comfortable socks I've found that stay in place and don't leave marks around the ankle. Caveat: they do wear out quicker than other socks. I haven't tried air drying (versus dryer) to see if that extends life. Read more
These socks are great. I've been searching for a while for some basic socks from amazon that dont squeeze my ankles too tight and irritate me while working at the office all day. Theyre very light and stretchy but also fit snuggly around my feet. My one minor complaint is that they are quite thin almost like dress socks so you can really feel any sort of dirt or rock that gets in your shoe, therefor not the best for hiking, but they are great nonetheless! these are very comfortable socks especially if you are sensitive to tight socks with too much elastic. The band above the ankle is not too tight and yet stays in place and does not leave an indentation even after all day wear. These are thin 80% cotton socks that are great for summer wear, but may not last as long as thicker socks. I am very happy with their quality and comfort. Read more
At 76, my lower legs, especially ankles, have a tendency to swell up with water (?), especially in the evening. Probably too much salt! Virtually every pair of socks I own has too tight of an elastic in them. These socks are AMAZING! They stay up, and the elastic is comfortably perfect. I have learned one thing, however: If you can buy these, or others like them, pick the style that has some sense of a two-tone pattern in them that helps you know that you are putting them on correctly.
