This Yottamaster Mac Mini Pro case is a perfect fit for the Mac Mini M4. The textured aluminum build material of the case is outstanding, as are the dense shock absorbing rubber corner supports inside. The stainless steel feet and carry bars on top look awesome and are a major upgrade for physical protection. If you need to transport the Mac Mini, this case affords excellent scratch and drop protection. By itself, the case weighs 724 grams or 1 lb 9.5 oz, so it is not light weight ...but for the protection it offers is totally worth it. There are plenty of vent holes and port holes in the appropriate places; the power button interface is a high quality plastic that works well; the access panel is also solid aluminum with no cheap shortcut tabs made of plastic. Everything is geared toward air flow, heat dissipation, and protection. This easy to assemble case is an outstanding upgrade for the money, especially if you need to transport between home and office or take it on the road. Highly recommended. Read more
I am a fan of simple aesthetic so I got this. This fits the mini perfectly. At first I was trying to figure out how to remove the fan plate but clearly there is an arrow to slide and the plate comes right off. Fits perfectly and keeps the system cool and protected. I also got this for a DIY project so I was hoping to modify this, the chrome little handles on each side appear to be held on the top plate which is secured with 4 screws, however trying to reach the screw is impossible, I tried different type of screwdrivers and bits and nothing could reach the tight angle space. Again as a case it works perfectly, just wish they would've provided an angle screw driver for removing the plate for more airflow/customization. Overall very solid aluminum heavy case, looks lovely! My wife was one of many with a perfectly good Windows 10 machine that didn’t have a TPM 2 chip on the mainboard so the forced move to Windows 11 wasn’t possible for her in any straightforward way. While she turned up some workarounds, to keep her perfectly good i7 machine update possible, the company’s (as she put it) extortion disgusted her. While Linus Zorin seemed attractive its app gap left some of her needed specialty programs incompatible without, again, convoluted workarounds. So she claimed refugee status at the Apple Store coming away with a new mini which she’s been more than happy with. While this enclosure isn’t necessary for the mini with this bit of frame on it looks sharp like a small Mac Pro look. She’s been running now with the ‘cage’ on finding no issues whatsoever. I note that the case provides both some protection as well as shock absorption. This is a luxury item in the sense that it’s not needed for mini Mac operation but is a pleasure to have as a possession. Read more
