I purchased this garment bag to go over my wedding dress as I was traveling from the US to Italy for my wedding. It held up great. I thought it was just so adorable. It looks exactly as pictured. It made lugging around the wedding dress for overseas travel a lot easier as I would see "bride" written on it and would think, just keep going! It also made it very clear to the airline that the bag needed a little extra special attention (my airline was great with storing my dress in the closet and had it ready for me as soon as I left my seat and exited the airplane). I would recommend having another bag underneath (perhaps the one that you receive from the designer/wedding dress store) in addition to this one if you will be traveling a far distance with the dress just in case. It isn't a water proof material so the extra layer may be helpful (that's what I did). It folded up nicely so that I could travel around with it easier and the dress was in quite good shape once I got to my final destination. I went with the black one since I was afraid the white may be a bit see through (but then again, I did keep the original garment bag on underneath). Read more
