Your PETS Kitchen Wet Dog Food Chicken Pot Pie Recipe - 13 2 oz Cans Pack of 6

So, I've tried both the beef and the chicken recipe. The chicken is more of chunky and mixes well with dry. The beef flavor is a pate, but still mixes well with the dry food. Both recipes contain fish oil, this is possibly why other dogs are having "diarrhea", because it's too much for them. It probably means you still have to supplement with dry food and possibly give less oil outside of the wet food. The value is honestly pretty swell, especially if I portion it properly, despite my dog being about...90 lbs? Before I bought this, doggo started to be incredibly upset with his food. He didn't want to eat and he'd leave it for ages. He only eats once a day, so it was very important for him. We started adding milk, but too much milk causes some issues for a dog's system. I am incredibly picky about what I feed my dogs, but Your Pet’s Kitchen Beef recipes have completely won us over. It is rare to find a meal that is both healthy and immediately enjoyed, but this exceeded all expectations. When I opened the package, I could identify real beef, wholesome vegetables, and no mystery filler. It is clearly palatable and, I imagine, smells great to them. My dog likes the Chicken Pot Pie better than the Beef. The only problem is see with the food, both flavors, is inconsistency in the texture. Some cans are moist and thick, others can the food come out almost like soup. My dog is almost 18 years old and very picky on what he eats so I'll continue using this product, Read more

Go slow with switching foods or it can lead to upset digestion issues. My two seem to like the beef better than the chicken pie. But that swing the other way depending on what day it is. The food has lots of obvious veggies and I can afford it better than all the really fancy top of the line food. I have 2 15lb dogs and a once a day feeding of half a can each seems to be doing well. I feed before I leave for work and have a large water dish as well as a shallow pan with some mixed varieties of kibble available while I am gone. Honestly, I don't know exactly how healthy this canned dog food is. I try to buy the best, I read the other reviews and spend the extra money to get what I hope is good quality dog food. So far I think this dog food is good, all of my dogs like it and readily eat it, but I also add my own homemade dog food on top of it. I give them about a 50/50 of canned and my own food made out of ground beef, chicken, pork, eggs and other goodies. Of all the canned dog foods that I've tried I think I like this one the best. I am soooooo happy to have found this dog food! I use it mixed with good quality kibble and my Rottweiler has such a sensitive stomach… she tolerates this 100% I’m so glad I found it. I keep it well stocked… I give it to our choc lab too and it’s a huge hit! Read more

This is a fail for me. I wish it wasn't. It looks and smells like great food. The ingredients list is good. Smells just like chicken pot pie. However, my picky dog won't touch it. The cat sampled it at least. The dog just sniffed it and walked away. UGH! She frustrates me so in trying to please her taste. I've been searching for 15 years now for something this dog will joyfully eat. Only thing I've found so far is people food and only then if it's off my plate. Yeah, she's one of those!
