I really like this dress. Unlike the description title states, I'm not wearing this as a swimsuit cover up. I'll be wearing this as a regular dress to the office or out. This dress is perfectly fine for that. I ordered this dress in the green color and the description photos do a great job of showcasing the color. Think of this green as a kelly green. I like it. A bit about me, I'm 5'3", wear between a 14 and 16 in US sizing. Often this means I'm in between sizes (many amazon items have the 12-14 as large; 16-18 as an XL). I also have a very large, full bust so I generally order to the larger of my sizes in tops/most dresses. I've ordered from this brand before and the XL fit great, so I ordered the XL and it fits great. It's loose and comfortable all over. I say this to say, order your normal size. If in between sizes, you could probably size down (order to your smaller size) and still be fine. As I mentioned, I'm pretty short. As one would expect, this dress is long on me which is fine. It falls to my ankles. The sleeves fall to my mid biceps. The hem is a dolphin (curved) hem with side split (it's not too high. It went up to about my knees). I'm not sure if it's because it's longer on me versus the model in the pictures, the last button down the front is about a few inches below my knees. All of the buttons are fully functional, but the description photos make it seem like the buttons end around the mid to low thigh area. They go down further, but you can always leave them undone (I took a picture to show where the last button falls on the dress). The top button (where the v-neck joins) sits about my mid chest. You can't see my "girls" but it's a moderately deeper v-cut. The dress has pockets and they too are fully functional. My cell phone fits fine. They do sit at the side so heavy or bulkier items will protrude a bit around your hips. I do appreciate the belt loops to keep the belt (made of the same fabric, 100% polyester) in place. The material feels fine against the skin. It's still too cold in my area to wear this out so I can't speak on if the material is breathable as the description states. I also haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will hold up. The tag says it can be machine washed and dried. Overall, this is a great casual dress. It's an easy button-down shirt dress that will work in a variety of occasions and body types. The XL is easily a 16-18 and a comfortable fit. The green color is bold and loud. I just love it. Fit True to size. Peachskin fabric very nice quality. My only reason for giving 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the color description is inaccurate. "Apricot" is really beige/khaki. I wish it were really apricot, what I consider a shade of coral, instead of a dull beige. But I am keeping the dress, as I like the style. Read more

I was a tiny bit hesitant ordering this, because even though the product listing seemed to imply it was more than a swimsuit cover-up, it was hard to get past that in the product description. I'm very pleased to report that this is NOT just a swimsuit cover-up, but a dress that can be worn for lots of purposes. This is even perfectly fine to wear to my business casual office! It's super comfortable and very flattering, and although it came with lots of wrinkles, I was able to iron them out quite well with a low setting. The material is kind of like what you might expect with more of a sport garment, I guess -- it's a flowy polyester kind of situation, but the design of the dress itself doesn't come off "sporty" so it can be worn with kitten heels or wedges, or just flat open-toe slides, and could definitely be dressed up with jewelry or a scarf, or just worn very casually for a day at the beach. It really is a versatile dress that can serve as a staple piece, particularly if (like me) you don't work in an overly stuffy office. Even as just a beach/vacation/weekend dress, it's a really nice find! The material is nice and breezy so if you're in a hot climate, I imagine it would wick away perspiration pretty easily (I haven't tested that out yet, but the material is something I'm familiar with so I feel reasonably sure it would!). The length of the sleeves and the hem is flattering for just about any body shape, and especially in the black I think the dress is one of those that makes you look effortlessly chic! The side slits make it not feel boxy or like a paper bag, and then you can adjust the buttons in front to either be a bit more buttoned down, or if you're truly wearing it as a swimsuit coverup, you can mostly just button the top buttons. Sizing is accurate -- I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs, 34C bust, and I usually wear a small. The small fits perfectly in this. I couldn't be happier with this dress overall and think it's a really good value for the price point -- particularly with the classic style that I can wear for years. Highly recommend! Read more
