I bought these for my son. I waited until he had a chance to wear them to give my honest opinion. My son is on the smaller side of a 7 year old so, his cup constantly moves around in these briefs. It's not as tight fitting as we would like them to be as he's always grabbing it to adjust it while playing baseball. Other than that, the hold up well in the wash, and have lost their shape. My kid does not like to wear a cup, but caught a baseball juuuuuust right while playing catcher and changed his mind. He wore the kind that has a very rigid cup but said it's uncomfortable. These, however, have a somewhat softer and more flexible cup and still offers some good protection from an errant baseball, so he wears it with far fewer complaints. I ordered the Youth Large for my 11 yo son based on the size information provided. They seem a little tight on him and I wish I would have gotten him the Youth XL. I don't think these will last through his next growth spurt. The cup that came with the shorts was too small for my son. But we had a larger cup and it fit into the pocket of the shorts. Read more
