I love these lighters. I have purchased so many replacement butane extended lighters, and I was just getting sick of wasting my money. I decided to get one of these and I’ve never had to replace it. So I bought a couple more. I keep one near my outside fire table, I keep one near my grill, and I keep one near my indoor gas fireplace. These lighters are awesome. I love not having to use lighter fluid, and outside I don't have to worry about the flame blowing out before it gets to the candle wick. It lights candles very well. Also seems to hold a charge for a long time. Hopefully it will continue to work well over time. It is very easy to use, but for this reason it does have to be kept out of reach of kids so that they don't accidentally set something on fire, which really could be a possibility. If it lasts a long time, I think it will definitely be worth here money. Read more
This is really neat and it works very well too! Lights off candles and wadded newspapers (ie. junk mail) to start fires with no problem, have only had to charge it once thus far but have used it dozens of times. :-) Read more
This worked great for the first year, but the switch now needs to held down to make it work. It's possible that it got abused on a camping trip (squeezed hard in a pack). It works great for lighting gas stoves, and even igniting birch bark and candles. It held plenty of charge for a 9-day wilderness canoe trip, starting multiple fires per day. Read more
