Apparently i got lucky with my battery.. I don’t know why but my battery is now coming up on its 3rd year / season of making it through new england winters and working flawlessly… typically i remove the battery for winter and trickle charge until spring….This year i didnt get to it before heavy snow cover came and made even getting to the battery an ordeal.so it stayed in the bike under a heavy cover til today.. i just opened up my bike(09 FZ1) and gave a quick check if it would turn over,which it did.. i wasnt ready to run the bike (for multiple reason) so i didnt crank more than a second or so. It seemed maybe a slowed turn over,but with the age of my bike it does a slow crank on some attempts,and if i let off and re attempt it spins right up.. point being I don’t know if it was that or the battery was a lil tired. The battery is now on a schumacker charger , but it read well over 12v’s when i checked Before hooking it up..(12.5ish) …imo this battery is worth the extra money .I don’t know why others had such bad experiences with theirs. A guess…….? Or ill say make sure you’re buying not just from the “cheapest” seller as i think amazon has many sellers of every items .and my guess is some of those who got bad batteries maybe order from a less scrupulous seller… Read more

Upon receiving this battery I immediately installed it in my motorcycle. My bike started right up and there seemed to be no problems. I rode it a couple of times and then it sat for a couple of weeks. When I went to start it after this two weeks of sitting it wouldn't turn over. There was obviously power when I turned the key but not enough to turn the engine over. Thinking perhaps the battery arrived a little low I put it on a battery charger for two days after which the bike started. I removed the charger and the bike sat for approximately 18 hours after which the bike would not turn over. It appears to me that the battery may have a bad cell as it has enough of a charge to power the electronic components but not start the bike. I'm still waiting to hear from Powersport Parts to see if they'll make good on their defective battery. UPDATE: Within a day or so of reaching out to the seller they responded back and immediately set out to make things right. After asking a couple questions via email they created a new order and had a new battery to me in a few days. Since installation the new battery has worked like a champ with no problems at all. Very pleased with Powersport Parts and the Yuasa battery and would recommend both. Read more

Lasted less than a month and now it won’t hold a charge. Upon arrival it was at 11.9v, I put it on my NOCO charger to get a full charge and installed it. After about three weeks it won’t hold a charge. Checked my alternator and it’s putting out 14.3v. Installed the old battery I took out and it starts fine. Obviously the new battery is bad. I think these are knock off or reject YUASA batteries. Tried getting a hold of customer service and have gotten nothing. I’ve had $35 Chinese batteries last 2+yrs. $145 and a bike that won’t start after a month. 11-24-24 YUASA customer service has not returned any of my emails. Amazon is zero help. I highly suspect these are a third party YUASA battery, nothing like what is put into new bikes. 11/28/24 Still nothing. No response. Out $145 plus the cost of another battery. Read more

This battery is an exact factory replacement for our Honda generator. I would recommend checking the configuration of the battery compartment on your generator before ordering any battery because not all batteries will fit in any generator The battery we received had a really good charge and the generator started right up. Is Common /NORMAL for batteries to Self-Discharge while in storage=Battery arrived-and Without installing I hooked up Battery to my Tender to be sure FULLY CHARGED before the trouble installing and Is now bellow 80% on arrival according to Battery tender light Full SOLID Red -(Blinking red indicates 80%+) Charger now- 1.5-2 hours later Fully Charged Battery tinder light showing Solid Green =TIME will tell with ACTIVE use!. : D !
