Was in a pinch and did not feel like shelling out $1000+ for a Rimowa carry-on, so I resorted to this for my carry-on luggage on a business trip. While still sturdy enough to give me comfort for my fragile items, the construction and material on this definitely feels a lot more susceptible to dents and scratches than other high-end luxury aluminum luggages. Does it mean that you should avoid on this? No. It's sturdy enough for the price. I am only expecting to use this ever for a carry-on, so I feel at ease with that. While it could survive a few throws from TSA and airport staff, I don't think this should be your choice of check-in due to how malleable it feels in comparison to builds such as Rimowa or Away. The wheels move well along many surfaces and the handle does have a telescopic-like maneuverable setting that adjusts to pretty much whatever height you need. The only real drawback is the lack of a lifetime warranty, which is the real winner of big money brands. I haven't experienced issues with it yet, such as the locks as written in many reviews, but we'll see as time goes on. Read more

After you select the combination and lock the suitcase the combination will not work on the left lock!!! I had to try 284 different combinations to unlock my suitcase. I have had to buy a TSA 007 key to keep with me on trips and use for the left lock!!!!! In one instance two different combinations will unlock the suitcase!!! Read more

I've used on a couple of trips now with no issues. Holds a bit more than expected (since it didn't seem as deep on each side). Very happy with the weight, toughness, etc. When my biggest concern is where I might get replacement part, if ever needed, that is a very good sign that I like the case and hope that I can keep it for a very long time. *UPDATE 3 YEARS LATER* What I like: + Looks awesome, especially as it gets a little bit roughed up with use + Great price for an aluminum bag + Plenty of room inside + High quality wheels handles What I don't like: - BOTH inside clasps that hold your items in place both broke (on the same trip), making it hard to close when fully packed (items in top-half won't stay in place while you try to close). - Locks randomly lock. The only remedy for this is to go through all possible combinations 1-by-1 or pry the clasp open forcefully. VERY annoying. Happened in the TSA line once and they had to get the universal TSA key to get it open for a search. - will dent if a baggage handler so much as looks at it. I only use this bag when I know I can bring it into the airplane cabin with me and don't have to check it. Read more

I purchased this roller bag right after the airline had destroyed my previous bag. I am a frequent flyer and need a roller bag that can last. I assume that a metal carryon would last longer, however, the airline managed to bang it up on the first flight. The roller bag looks like it will last much longer as it is very sturdy but dents and scratches will be very evident. Read more
