I ordered this for my daughter. Here is her review: Regarding how this skirt fits: I am quite petite; I usually wear a size zero in jeans, and even those are sometimes too big in the waist. I ordered this skirt in size extra small, and for the most part, it fits me relatively well. The waist band is a wide elastic band, which allows ample room for adjustment. The skirt is, however, a bit tight around the hips. Unlike the waist band, the first ruffle at the top of the skirt is not made of elastic, but consists of un-stretchable stitching. Therefore, while it is not too tight for me (see photos), this skirt may not work for women with wider hips. Also, I am very short (4'10" tall), and to keep this skirt from dragging the ground, I need both to wear heels and to fold the waistband over once. I like how easy it is to move around in this skirt. It is comfortable (if it fits you in the hips), and it flows very nicely with movement. I also appreciate that it has roomy pockets, which can very easily hold a wallet or a cell phone. Also, the photos show what the skirt looks like right out of the box. With an iron or even a quick tumble in the dryer, it will certainly not look so wrinkly. LONG navy blue three-tiered skirt puddles on the floor around me. I'm under 5' tall. So, that was to be expected. The skirt has side pockets! Yay!! It is made of a non-stretching material that reminds me of the dress shirts my dad wore. PERFECT for wearing year round... even in the summer months when it is VERY hot. This will breathe great and prevent excessive sweating. There is a back tag with the brand name on it and a label in the side seam near the bottom of the skirt with care instructions and stating that it is 100% cotton. 10 STARS!!!!! The label care instructions read: "Delicate garment please handle with care avoid rough surfaces and be cautious to avoid fabric pulling. Cold Gentle machine wash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Cool Iron only from inside with pressing cloth. Do not wring or rub." All the seams seem to be well done. They used a serger. The entire garment is well constructed. The elastic is flexible. Doesn't feel binding at all. And it doesn't feel loose. Since it is so LONG on short me, I'm going to wash it in warm water on medium heat to see if I can get some shrinkage to happen. ... an hour later.... So, I washed it and dried on medium heat. It did shrink. However, Not in the direction I had hoped it would. It shrunk around but not in length. Crumbs. Not what I needed it to do. I am going to need to alter it. The skirt will lose almost the entire length of the top tier to fit me lengthwise. The curse of being under 5' tall. The plus side.... the white spotted navy blue blouse that I found this skirt for matches and looks good with it! :) It's worth the little effort of altering to get it to fit me. Note: this skirt is not a wash and wear material. It will require a light touch of the iron just like dad's dress shirts had. Cotton is GREAT! It Breathes! I really like the skirt, I just have an issue with my body shape fitting into it without looking round. The skirt is the perfect length and is a really comfortable material, I just need to wear a body suit underneath to help suck me in in places that make me look round in the skirt. It is a lightweight skirt that goes down to your ankles. It gives summer walks vibes and or dancing vibes when I put it on and I love that. It has many color options and comes in all different sizes. It has pockets also! I feel that is a must have when it comes to any kind of skirt or pants, pockets are a must! This is a very pretty maxi skirt. It is 100% peplum cotton, so it’s not that gauzy type of maxi skirt, but still very cute. It does swish very nicely when you walk. The length is perfect for me, for reference I am 5’5” tall. I love that it has pockets and the pockets are large enough to fit a phone and several other items and the way that they are placed. They don’t really add bulk to the skirt. I think my only complaint about the skirt is that it has an elastic waistband that is sewn in, but it’s not sewn in place so it tends to twist inside and I had to reposition it several times. I think I’ll probably replace it with a drawstring, which is easy enough for me to do, but I do think this is a point that could be better done. Overall, I do think this is a good quality skirt and I would still recommend it. Read more

I loved wearing this flowing maxi skirt. It's so pretty and comfortable. Love the design and quality of the fabric. The fit is perfect for women that love that elastic around the waist.
