I’d ordered this camera September 3 2021 and got it on the 7th, fast delivery was great. Negatives in my view: My only three arguments with this product are: (1) It’s designed to stay in your vehicle and “this drives me nuts!!!” But in today’s world all of these dash cams are designed in this manner, it’s as if the manufactures are asking for your vehicles windows to be smashed and the product to be stolen as a way of forcing you to purchase another. “So I don’t care for this.” (2) It has a continuous flashing light so if it’s left in your vehicle, even if a thief didn’t have knowledge of there being a dash cam in your vehicle this light is certain to draw their attention and bring them running straight to a $160.00 camera and they’ll have no problems breaking out your windows to get after it. This light flashes even when the battery is too low to support the cameras working. It’s like I’ve said “it’s as if the manufactures are asking for your vehicles windows to be smashed and the product to be stolen as a way of forcing you to purchase another.” (3) The suction cup that supposedly mounts the dash cam to your windshield or wherever you’re planning on mounting it is not a suction cup at all; it’s more of a stick-on cup. Remove the cover wrap from the suction and you’ll feel this sticky crap that’ll hold it to your mounting point. After six mounts, mine stopped mounting. There is no suction mount. Turn the locking level clockwise and it does suck into place; for about 20 seconds before it free falls. Lucky for me I’d already had my power cord connected and this prevented the camera from breaking if it’d fallen to the floor. Positives in my view: (1) I LOVE the color touch screen as it’s easy to navigate for reasons of settings. (2) The stability of the video and photo recording are great. (3) Two thumbs up on the 155-degree wide angle lens. (4) Front view is great as well as the rear view; but the dual view is confusing. Meaning, that if you’re driving using dual view. When you look at the camera it’s hard to distinguish where the rear ends and the front begins. The manufacturer should’ve placed an outline around the rear view for separation. (5) I haven’t yet had a need for the Motion Detector or the Parking Mode but the Audio Recording also gets both of my thumbs up. (6) Both front and rear camera’s are good and clear and your device does come with everything listed in the box being: T4 Dash Camera, Car Mount, Car Charger with USB Cable, Rear Camera with 26-foot USB Cable, User Guide Warranty Card and a 32GB SD card. All-in-all, 3 negatives and 6 plus positives; I’ll give it a go as it’s a good dash cam and I like it. On my own, I'll need to figure out how to keep it mounted. I mean, do I glue it in place or do I nail it to my windshield? Suggestions welcomed. Read more

This is a fabulous dash cam, especially for the price!!! It has a great picture, was very easy to install. I love that it has PIP. The cord was more than adequate to hang the rear cam in my back window. Definitely meets & exceeds my expectations!!! I looked at a ton of cams & even purchased another cam else where. It was horrid!!! Returned that & decided to spend a lil more cash on this one!!! So glad I made the investment!!! Tons of features & a very easy to use touchscreen!!! If you're in the market be sure to grab this lil bit of a honey!!! You wont regret it!!! I haven't had any issues thus far. If I do I'll be sure to update my review. I also purchased a 128 gig sd card through another seller on amazon. It wouldn't format in the cam so I brought it in to see if I can format on my laptop. If not it's going back. This cam comes with a card, I just wanted a bigger one. I hope it isn't a fake!! Honestly, it took me a good while of sifting through numerous cams, this one really is top quality for your bucks. Edit: I drove home from the hospital the other night. The night vision is great!!! I could see plates, signs, and other things with good clarity. So this means this cam is definitely a great buy!!! I bought this about 14 months ago and have waited to use it thoroughly before writing a review. Initially the device had problems with the cords but after contacting their customer support they replaced it promptly and without additional cost. My concerns were met at a high standard and communication was always quick. The video quality is very good. It feels like there is an inconsistency with what I had researched on youtube, with other users' uploaded videos showing the resolution, however maybe I don't have the right setting. Either way I can still see most things clearly when transferring the files to my computer. I'm only giving 4 stars because again there are issues with the cord. Initially it was the cord for the rear camera (I haven't had additional problems with that) but now it is the power cord. For a while now the camera will shut off, showing low battery, and typically this is because of connectivity issues. Everything is plugged in correctly but I frequently need to adjust how the cord is positioned to get it working. Many times I have been driving without realizing that nothing has been recording! This is my first dash cam so here is my experience so far. First like is the 4" touch screen. You won't find yourself fumbling around to find menus or buttons due to the touch screen. Another like is ease of installation. It took me about 45 min, to install, and that is both the front and rear cameras. Picture is very clear on both cameras. Night vision works well. As with most cameras you won't get the sharp colors in low light, but it is still very usable even in low light. I've seen reviews complaining about Z-Edge customer service. I don't know if my experience is the exception but for my experience it has been "Excellent". My first camera wouldn't hold a charge for park mode. I called customer service and found it to be one of my better experiences concerning product support. I explained my problems and the associate said "No Problem" Would you like a replacement or refund. I told him I would like a replacement and try his product again. This was the shocker. He told me they would send out a kit Immediately. I said it would take a couple of days to send the defective camera back. He said not to worry. He said when I received the new camera just package up what I didn't need from the new kit and send the rest back using the free return shipping label.
