I’m a tough critic and I don’t give five star reviews easily, but I gotta give these five stars because I’m in love. I’m not even going to wear these as a beach cover-up, which is what they are advertised as. I mean, you can certainly use them for that purpose but I love these so much that I’m going to wear them out like daily wear. And even though they are definitely see-through as you can tell, you can see in my photos that I’ve already found a top that looks fantastic with them… they will do quite nicely in an everyday situation. The quality of these is quite nice, and they are put together very well. I absolutely love the style of them and how the sides are split and lay over one another. It’s just one of those minor details that adds to the charm of them. They are not incredibly thick, but I would say that they fit well and true to size and I find them to be comfortable enough. These are a size medium, and I am currently 5’5” 130 lbs 34DD-28-38 and these are just a little tight around the smallest part of my waist at the moment but I still got this size because I’m a little overweight after having gone through breast cancer and that whole ordeal. But I plan to get back to being active and eating well again and therefore these shorts will fit me both now and when I lose weight because I can certainly tighten them with the strings. All in all, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone and I love the colors and I’m kind of obsessed with 60s and 70s era clothing and these look like something that dropped out of three’s company 🤣. I absolutely love these crochet style cover up shorts for women and the colors that they consist of. They’re super flattering and cover-up just the right length and work great over bikini or even as shorts with the right color underwear. They are true to size and they pull so they fit great, and they still had a little bit of room, but of course I’m able to pull string them on so absolutely true to size highly recommend and love the old-school colors the mustard cream, orange, beige, and pea soup colors are like my favorite. For being a small crochet that seems machine made. They’re still really really nice, but they also give off that same vibe that a handmade would with a more affordable price . Overall great quality worth it and I wear them daily with my band T-shirts and I wear underwear that matches the colors and it looks like they’re part of the shorts so these are fun style and worth the price! Also, the fabric is very comfortable on the skin but it does get a little heavy when it gets wet, so you need to tighten it very well if you don’t want it to fall down. The shorts seem well made and feel like good quality for a cover-up. They are listed as high-waisted, but if you have a longer or taller torso, they may not hit quite as high as expected.
