I have a hip surgery scar on one side of my hip so it’s been difficult for me to wear any kind of swimsuit without wearing some sort of a wrap to conceal it. The problem was that most wraps are like skirts where the length on both sides are the same covering both my hips and I still wanted to at least have a sexy reveal on the other no-scar hip. So when I saw this, I immediately got it! I love that you can tie it on either side of your hip! The textured mesh fabric is a little see-through adding to the sexy vibe and it’s also very soft against the skin. The scalloped hem is quite beautiful close-up as it adds such a pretty, elegant touch that makes it look expensive. The one-size design works well and is adjustable to customize for your body or fit. What I really appreciate is the multiway styling. You can tie it around your hips as a classic sarong skirt, wrap it higher up, use it over your shoulders or even as a scarf. It’s lightweight and breathable so it doesn’t feel bulky or heavy. I seriously can’t wait for summer so I can start wearing it! I rate this swim cover with four stars! This arrived very quickly and is almost identical to how it looks in the Amazon ad. It is well sewn, there are no hanging threads and the soutache ribbon is sewn on properly. It measures about 19 inches long and 66 inches wide. The ends of the wrap are more narrow so it’s easy to tie and the knot is not overly huge. It can be wrapped around your waist as a traditional beach wrap, or tossed over your shoulders and worn as a shawl. The reason why I did not give it five stars is that the fabric is a little rough, so if you’re sunburned or if you sit down on it, you will see and feel the raffia pattern on your legs. I would rate the overall quality as an 8/10. The wrap will likely last for one summer but will not age well. Keeping in mind that this is not an expensive cover up, and that it’s sewn pretty well, the value is worth it if you’re looking for a nice wrap that won’t break the bank.
