I bought this cup for my daughter (age 5) to use. We were looking for a cup that would close easily to help prevent leaks and an internal straw that would stay attached during use. We have had issues with flexible straws coming loose with other types of cups and then the kids can't drink out of them until the lid is opened and the straw reinserted. This cup has been perfect for us. The Wonder Woman design is bright and colorful. The mouth piece is a hard plastic and folds down easily. The internal straw is also a harder plastic material. It stays in place even if the cup is dropped. Thus far we haven't had any issues with leaks even if the cup is tipped on its side with the mouth piece in the open position. We have not tried holding it upside down while open, though. We have washed the cup by hand and in the dishwasher. We use a small brush (similar to a pipe cleaner) to clean out the straw as needed. I have found that washing the lid by hand is the best option to get the mouth piece really clean. This cup is not an insulated cup so beverages do not stay cold for long. However, I just load up the cup with ice if the kids want a really cold drink while playing. Also, because this cup is not insulated, condensation forms on the outside of it. This isn't a problem for us but it is something I like to be aware of. Overall a great option for a kid's cup. Cute pattern options and great cup design. Read more

I ordered this after having two water bottles that leaked. So far, no leaks. The only issue is that the straw sometimes hits the bottom and you have to adjust it or you won't get any water. But so far I love it and get many compliments on it! Read more
