This is a great product. My kitten and older cat both love it. I had to buy a second so they would both have their own. They are big enough and strong enough for my large cat. The materials are soft and easy to vacuum, when needed. The cats like to rest their heads on the buiIt in pillow around three sides. I finally can do a full review after having this window perch for a couple of weeks. I made the mistake of trying to place a cat in it against their will. But today, I finally caught a cat! So first this is pretty well made and just seems sturdy. It was easy to put together and looks super cute in the window. I have attached a picture of my one cat Fluffer Nutter Esq in the bed and he looks content as can be, entertainment if the busy street outside (we live in the city) and the comfort of the soft materials. This thing is AMAZING! One of my fur babies is 14lbs and the other is 12lbs and it can hold them both at the same time. You can even open up the window with this in it so there’s no having to take it down and put it back up. I got the extra large size and it takes up all but about 4 inches of my window so they still have room to jump up on the window sill without having to jump onto the perch. It’s quite sturdy! For $32, this thing is awesome!! It’s super convenient to move around, if you need to do so. It took all of about 10 minutes to put together. Very easy to clean it as well. We live in an apartment so the fact that I didn’t have to drill holes, etc. in order to make it safe is amazing! Definitely worth the money!! I see why this has such good reviews. I’m glad I listened. It comes with everything you need, which isn’t much because it doesn’t really require tools, other than the hex key, which comes with it. Updated review: I’ve had it for almost 4 months now and it still works just as good as the day I bought it. My babies love it so much that yesterday I bought them another one, just in a different color. The first one I bought is in the bedroom. This one will be in the living room. I would advise you to check the sturdiness of it every couple of weeks, just to make sure it doesn’t need tightening or repositioned, etc. Maybe I’m just too paranoid but I check mine every couple of weeks to make sure the screws haven’t gotten loosened enough to make it fall. For the price, this is pretty nice! The cushion bed is well sewn, the wooden parts are finished extremely nicely and the hardware is high-quality. Assembly was a no-brainer There’s adjustability built-in, and should fit a wide variety of windows. Look carefully at the photos provided by the seller to see how it attaches to the window, then compare it to your window to understand how it works and to make sure it will work for you. The bed itself is suspended between two metal poles, so it sags a bit like a hammock, not like a structured supported bed. But that’s my design… I put quite a bit of downward pressure on it, and it doesn’t deform or flex or bend. This thing could easily hold a 15 or 20 pound cat. I was fully prepared to do modifications or additional sewing if I needed to, but actually, I’m pretty impressed, especially for the price. There are quite a few of these available online. The basic premise of this perch is quite simple. The perch rests two steel mounts against the window frame and the wood braces push against the wall. The perch uses hardwood for the bottom supports and snap together steel bars that feed through the bolster. Assembly is dead easy and it is highly adjustable for a wide variety of window configurations. The bolster itself is nicely made. The channels for the support rods are made of a pretty tough material. My cats took to this immediately, so why 4 stars? We have many cats. Our largest is 18#. When he settled himself in, the steel crossbars started bending. While the perch held him, I immediately removed him so he didn't destroy the perch. The solution is easy - make the support crossbars significantly thicker. I may end up getting some custom-made bars from larger gauge steel rods. Be aware that there IS an upper weight limit the perch will support. Read more

This is the best purchase I've ever made. The contentment my cat displays as she lounges peacefully in her spot in front of any sunny window in the house brings me so much joy. I pass by occasionally to find a lone leg dangling. Then just a tail. Then both. Then she's belly up in a stretch with what appears to be a grin under her whiskers. I. Love. This. Product. So does she. Easiest set up. Simple window to window transfer. Sturdy. Lightweight. I would click 6 stars if they were offered. If you have a cat, GET ONE! I bought one to make sure it fit in my windows. It was SO easy to install, and feels very sturdy. You can use them with the window open or closed. My cats absolutely LOVE these. It is also noteworthy that all of my cats are fairly large, being about 12-13lbs, and there is no issue with holding their weight, or them being cramped. These are very spacious.
