This sweater is really very stylish & I love the overall design. I’m never thrilled with short sleeves on sweater tops, but I could always wear a blazer or similar over it. The description talks about how lightweight it is but the pink floral one I got definitely has a bit of weight to it as the knit may have more than one layer to it. Just don’t know yet how breathable this is going to be being as thick as it is. I feel the size I received is true to size & the length is perfect (but I’m only 5’2” with a shorter torso). It’s very soft & comfortable to the skin. The description says machine wash, which is great & like all of my other sweaters, I wash them on the gentle cycle & never machine dry them but instead air dry them flat. I picked this sweater up in an XL, which is my typical size, and it seems I picked the right one. It’s just right - comfortable and well-fitting without being too tight. For reference, it measures about 22.5” from armpit to armpit, and about 26.5” from top to bottom, measured from the neckline at the back to the bottom hem. I’m relatively long in the body, so I appreciate tops like this one that aren’t annoyingly short and aren’t constantly riding up while I’m having to tug them down every few minutes. I just noticed that the “recommended based on your past purchases” blurb tells me I should order a Large, but I’m happy I picked an XL nonetheless. I’d rather have a little more room than a little less! The knit fabric is soft and quite lightweight. I like that the sleeves are a good length, although they’re definitely not the “basically elbow-length” seen in a couple of the undoubtedly doctored product photos. The product info says “machine wash” in the care instructions section, but then further down in the product description it says hand washing is recommended. The care label says 40°/do not tumble dry. I’ll stick to machine washing it on the delicate cold cycle I use for the majority of my clothes, followed by hanging it to dry. Overall I’m glad I picked this up; it’s comfortable and casual, while still smart enough to wear to work. A good basic everyday staple to add to my wardrobe! Read more
This short sleeve sweater from Zeagoo is one of those items every wardrobe should have because of its versatility. It looks dressy enough when paired with slacks or a skirt to wear at the office or out for dinner at a nice restaurant, but it looks great when worn with jeans. It is made from a synthetic viscose fabric which makes it soft against the skin, helps it drape well, and keeps it breathable. This is a sweater that can be worn into the summer months. It features a vee neckline with a placket with three decorative buttons. The description says handwash, but I washed mine in cool water and a gentle wash cycle. Then I smoothed the wrinkles out by hand and air dried. I think it felt even softer after washing. I used the size chart and felt the fit was perfect with just the right amount of wiggle room. This was delivered only two days after the order. It came on-schedule, on-time, well-packaged, undamaged and in perfect brand new condition. This is an exceedingly soft, smooth, silky and comfortable top. It’s very breathable with a lightweight feel and texture. The fabric is viscose, otherwise known as rayon, a semisynthetic that includes cellulose, which is what cotton is. This fits very well, true to size, and is well-made with excellent stitching and seams. The neck is very flattering with it’s V-theme and buttons which, too, are excellent quality though it’s not clear what they’re made of, probably a good quality plastic. $25.44 – the item’s listed price as of this review – is a very good value for this, and better than when I ordered it. I ordered this sweater for my wife, who was delighted with the color and design, as well as the fact that the top was a perfect fit. For that matter, along with matching the website photos and description, she was particularly happy to find that the sweater not only goes well with both jeans and skirts, but it is perfect to wear for such varied activities as casual outings, work, or dressier occasions. Better yet, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, which makes it comfortable for all-day wear. In addition, it’s important to note that although the website references both handwashing and machine washing, my wife opted to wash it on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag and, then, hung it to dry…which ensured that there wasn’t any shrinkage.
