I wear a lot of hats to protect my head, especially since I live in an area that is sunny for a lot of the year. I'm also a sports guy, so when I can get nice hats that highlight the teams I like, that's a bonus. I always like to wear hats that are matching the other stuff I'm wearing color-wise. I'm a big USC fan so it's nice to have some hats that represent my team. I like this hat because it is a bit non-traditional in the design. The school logo is the same with the inter-locking cardinal colored S & C. But the shark-tooth design gives you multiple colors, which makes it a bit more flexible to wear. The hat is pretty comfortable and it looks good. It has an adjustable back so it should fit just about any sized head. It looks to be pretty decent quality and the price was reasonable. A lot of officially licensed hats are well over $30 these days on various hat/fan sites. This one was well under that (at the time of this review), so it seems like a good value for what you get. I have some explaining to do, as to why I love this hat so much, and why I gave it five stars. My late father graduated from UMich (really), and my son "bleeds blue". We watch all their games- loved Lloyd Carr and even more- Jim Harbaugh. We were devastated when UMich jerked him around with a new contract, forcing him to leave for the NFL chargers. We still watch the games, but miss him dearly. He was an alum of the school, and beat Ohio three straight times! That being out of the way, this hat is gorgeous. It is officially licensed and displays UMich colors wonderfully. My son (who is getting this for Christmas, will be thrilled. The price point for this gorgeous, licensed hat, is simply excellent. As a huge fan of The Ohio State University, I had to have this throwback hat! I remember seeing these style of hats and s-shirts when I was young, and I am so happy to relive that amazing look! The overall quality of the hat is very impressive and looks great in person. I found it fits best as a flat brim or slightly bent brim. Read more
