Lightweight, super cute, and have gotten tons of compliments from people thinking this came from a much more expensive designer than a random Amazon seller. Shorts fit me as a very high waist, almost to my bra line. The shirt is maybe short if you aren’t wearing the shorts high waisted but for me sits much lower than the top of the shorts. I’m 5’2, 165lbs, usually a true L. I wanted the slightly baggier fit, so I went up to an XL. I’d say it’s true to size. I absolutely love it! The quality is great, color matched the description, the material feels slightly weighted but still light. The style is easy to throw on and walk out of the door without thinking about accessories! I was drawn to the idea of this two-piece denim outfit, but the execution was flawed. The "oversized" design was implemented poorly; it was oversized in not the right places, leading to an incredibly unflattering silhouette. Instead of appearing effortlessly cool, it just made me look silly and disproportionate. There was too much excess fabric bunching up in odd areas, which ruined the overall aesthetic. The outfit simply didn't hang correctly, and trying to style it differently didn't help. It was clear it wasn't going to work, so it was an immediate return.
