This lighter is better than I could have imagined. I have always wanted a Zippo lighter (even though I do not smoke) and this is the perfect one. YES the click is the best part about this lighter. It makes me smile every time I do a trick with it. I highly recommend using the zippo lighter fluid (yes I know it sounds like Im being a brand loyalist but their fluid does burn better) Pros: Great price way cheaper than in stores The click can't be beat The look is fantastic It has to say zippo on a zippo A LIFE time WARRANTY Very sturdy CONS: The red is a sticker, I dropped it and part of the sticker came off fluid evaporates in about 5 days You will eventually (but not for about 3 years) have to buy a wik and flint Read more
If you've seen those photos of an albatross corpse with a Bic lighter in its belly, you might be thinking about something more environmentally friendly. Of course that's not the only reason to buy a Zippo. It's a quality product. I didn't own one as a smoker, but I own one now, and I love it. It's realiable. In case you're wondering: - A zippo holds about 1/2 oz of fluid at a time. - If you accidentally overfill, fear not, you can let it air out outside. It evaporates very quickly, as you will soon learn. - Let youtube be your guide. More fun than printed instructions. - The two digits on the bottom of the lighter refer to the year; the letter is a code for the month, e.g. J = 10th letter = October. Yes, there are electronic lighters now, and they're cool, but the noise sounds like a Zika-infected mosquito in your ear. My one complaint about traditional lighters is the smell of the fluid, but I'm used to it. I even like it. Enjoy your Zippo. Read more

I LIKE THIS LIGHTER, BUT I MUST WORN YOU ALL ITS SMALL, BUT GETS THE JOB DONE, HOWEVER I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I READ A REVIEW THAT STATED THAT THIS GUY LIVED IN MIAMI AND WHEN IT GETS WINDY THERE IT IS PRETTY DAMN WINDY AND I KNOW BECAUSE IVE BEEN THERE AND HE WROTE A COMMENT THAT IN THE SEVERE WINDS THE FLAME WOULD HOLD UP, WHICH IM IN CALIFORNIA, BUT LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DURING MODERATE TO SEVER WINDS IT DOESNT HOLD UP, BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND IT AND I REALLY LIKE THE LOOK, I LIKE THAT ITS SMALL AND IT DOES HOLD THE FLAME, JUST NOT LIKE THAT DUDE DESCRIBED IN SEVERE WINDY CONDITIONS Read more
Got this for the subtle design. I love the matte finish and the understated red trim. It looks really nice and is definitely a head turner. Gets the job done (obviously, its a Zippo, best lighter you can buy) and looks great while doing it. I've had one Zippo before that I found and kept for a bit but after the quality of the design and manufacture of this one, I'm a fan for life. Read more
