Pros about this lighter: 1) Very Flashy, I bought this lighter because of the way it looks, I love it. It is an eye catcher. Within the first night of using this I had many people comment on how cool it looks. 2) It is durable, as all Zippos are. This thing is a tank. It has taken many a falls without a scratch or dent. It is truly a Zippo. 3) CHEAP. I can't stress this enough. It came with a $26.99 dollar tag on it!!!! I was blown away at the price of this. Great addition for collectors as well. 4) The seller, I had an issue where I mistakenly put down the wrong address, the seller rectified the issue and sent me a free item as well. I paid no cost for my stupid mistake! Cons about this lighter: 1) Nothing that I can think of. Conclusion: This lighter is an insane buy. If you are looking for something to flash around or a conversation starter at a party, this is it. It will break the ice and allow you to make new friends. I love this thing. Read more

First off you can't go wrong with a Zippo, lasts for years, perfect quality. Always lights the first time. Works in wind. Especially this particular Zippo, the casing looks like an oil spill, shines in the sun, rainbow like. It beautiful. I've had a couple of Zippos, all work the same. Perfect. The finish is 'OPALESCENT' ...which is NOT to say it 'opalesces'--to all those not 'artistically inclined' 'consumers' out there. {I.e., 'opalescence' is NOT the same thing as 'iridescence' or 'light refractive' like a compact disc (which's what people mean when they're talking about 'color-changing').} It IS quite the eye-catcher nevertheless which makes it easy to spot when dropped in the grass ... -or rather mine WAS: I can't recommend this for everyday use, as the clear gloss finish started wearing off the narrow sides + top after only about a year's regular use. However it was my intention to get another one sooner and alas, now I have to if I want a 'presentable' one. ; ] Otherwise it is what it says it is: a genuine ZIPPO [cigar/cigarette] lighter {hence they've never advertised these items as 'candle lighters', dear new-agers +fly-by-night 'wiccans'--but you still shouldn't let 'kids' play with it and can't beat it for a reliable camp-fire starter! ; ) +Nope it's STILL NOT a butane lighter after over 80 years of manufacturing {i.e. you wouldn't want it to come already loaded or what you'd get is maybe a half-full lighter and a package that smells like lighter-fluid which'd be highly 'inflammable' to your parcel-delivery service too? X ) You're going to have to buy a container of lighter-fluid sooner or late anyway so I don't see what all the hyperbolized bemoaning complaints are about. Looks just like it does in the picture. It was a little bit more difficult to get out of the zippo case then most but once it finally came out it was super easy to put back in. Comes with Flint no need to buy any just add fluid and you are ready to roll. I bought one for my best friend last year and loved it so much I bought one for myself. Definitely worth the price. There simply is no better lighter than a Zippo. You can have your 3 x expensive fancy torches that burn through butane at an alarming rate & then suddenly stop working. So pretty! Color is the main reason I bought this as my first zippo (former bic user) and I have definately traded up! The ONLY thing that I would like to do is get a nice pair of gloves to use this because it shows my fingerprints everytime I touch it and I don't want anything getting in the way of looking at this little psychodelic rainbow of colors.
