These zippos can't be beat! I have used these zippo lighters for various reasons, none of which applied to smoking. These zippo lighters are reliable, come with a lifetime warranty, and are stylish. They have been around a long time, at least dating back to the Korean conflict, maybe WWII ? A simple and effective design, Zippo lighters come in the fluid type (which this one is), and the butane gas type. I ordered the Weave design because I anticipated some external abuse while carrying, and I'm glad I did. These lighters are real affordable, and are identical to all fluid Zippos, including the collectible pricey line. I actually practice some of the zippo tricks if I have any spare time, which is rare. There is no better/more iconic brand when it comes to metal lighters. There's nothing like that sound when you pop the lid off your Zippo. It comes at a premium, especially when you consider the parts you'll have to replace over time, but it is easy to take apart and will last forever as long as you maintain it. Great quality lighter. Works as well as any other zippo I have purchased and takes a good beating without showing much wear and tear. Fluid doesn't last very long, but that is a problem I seem to have with all zippos. The new gas ones are pretty good as well for anyone who doesn't like the fluid. Read more
