I mounted this where I'd have a 3rd 120mm fan on top of my case and then used this with all my 2.4ghz and dongles plugged in. All seven ports are full. All seven ports work simultaneously with no issues. I haven't tried a high-speed data test on all seven ports at the same time. But in terms of does it work for gaming devices?? This is a brilliant little piece. The on off switch for each one of the USB ports is so helpful. I can keep anything I want plugged in without it having to be on. I tried this USB hub and overall, it’s decent for everyday use. The build quality feels solid, and I appreciate the individual on/off buttons for each port—it’s a really handy feature for isolating which devices you want powered at a given time. However, the LED indicator lights do bleed over a bit, so sometimes the button next to the one that’s actually on will also look partially lit, which can be confusing. One thing I really wish is that this came with its own AC adapter. Since it’s only powered through USB, it doesn’t deliver enough juice to fully support multiple high-demand devices charging at once. For instance, it works fine for charging smaller electronics or running accessories, but if you’re expecting it to handle several power-hungry devices simultaneously, you’ll run into limitations. That said, for moderate use, it works well. I was able to charge several 10,000mAh batteries overnight without any problem, so for casual needs, it gets the job done. Just be aware that despite some listings suggesting it’s a "powered" hub, this is not truly powered. Good for light to moderate usage, but if you need full power support across multiple devices, look for one with a dedicated AC adapter. Read more

This USB hub really expanded the number of ports available on my laptop, which was perfect given my many peripherals. The individual power switches for each port are incredibly useful, letting me control connected devices without unplugging. Data transfer speeds are solid and reliable. Decent build quality, lightweight and the size is just right. The only issue is that it gets a bit warm during heavy use, but never hot enough to worry about safety. Great solution for my port-starved laptop. For me that makes it well worth the money and a great value for the price at that. Read more
