I have always spent A LOT of money on name brand down alternative coats. When the one I loved (because it was a rare find to have no logo on it) caught on a doorjam and ripped, I spent months looking for something to replace it. I decided to give this coat a try, and I am SO glad I did. It fits beautifully, has a removable hood, is packable, if you need that, and really good quality at about $240 dollars less than I have spent in the past. I have a heavier coat for really cold temperatures. But this coat is so soft, comfortable, and warm, I haven't needed the other coat. This jacket is very lightweight and so very soft and comfy!! No bunching or bulky spots. A great feature of any jacket is that the sleeves don't pull back when you reach or raise out your arms; the sleeves stay at your hands! So far, the jacket is warm (we are just starting our winter season here and I also tend to wear a sweater or hoodie under my jackets.) I left off a star due to the overall style. Very light weight and very warm. Length is great, almost to my knees. The only thing I would change or add is a bottom-up zipper for when I sit. May run a tad small. I ordered a XL as I'm usually a lg/xl and I think it would be too tight if I wear anything bulky underneath. But I'm happy with this choice. Read more

Nice, very light coat. Very basic and good for cool weather (40-50 degrees). It won’t work for colder weather like 20’s and 30’s. It is easy to pack but it ran small so I have to return it. Read more
