I bought the green Zoku plastic popsicle molds, and they work really well for making homemade popsicles. The molds are straightforward to fill and come with sticks that fit securely. The base is designed well, so there’s no mess while freezing. The popsicles are a good size, not too big or too small. Removing them is easy; you just run the mold under warm water for a few seconds, and the popsicle comes right out. The plastic is durable and easy to clean and the popsicle mold fits in my freezer, though I’ve found it’s best to place it on a flat surface for stability. Read more

I first saw these on an episode of Let's Dish (LWN). He was making Tropical Paletas (Google that and it's the first thing to come up), and I thought the pop molds looked SO cool (also the recipe, and it is!). Around the same time, my daughter had been begging me to figure out a way to make popcicles (I've used Dixie cups in the past but didn't have any). So I looked and saw these right away which I was happy about, but still looked around to see if I could find something about as good for a little cheaper. The ones I was interested in for their shapes and style bad some crappy reviews. I'm pretty cheap but I end up regretting that a lot of times. So I indulged and got these. I love them! I do plan on purchasing another set or two in the future, but can't do it right now. Being made in China (UGH I know), they are surprisingly good quality--they better be, for the price! They are a rigid plastic but have a slight flex to them and are NOT brittle. I love the shape! When I saw them on the cooking show I was watching, I thought they looked beautiful when he took them out of the molds, and they are! The stand is cool-looking yet simple and effective. The sticks are great, rigid, and durable--not cheap and flexy like some I've had in the past--and the drip guard is effective, even for my ridiculously messy daughter. Everything is very easy to wash, the stand itself not really needing much of a wash at all if nothing spilled on it. The first thing I made with them was chocolate pudding pops. I made a small box of Jell-O chocolate pudding (cook & serve, haven't tried instant) and added 2 heaping tablespoons of dark chocolate baking cocoa for a richer chocolate flavor. It only filled 5 of the pops (will use larger box next time and have some pudding leftover), but I filled the 6th one with strong Kool-Aid. My S/O doesn't like chocolate anyway (blasphemy! lol). I then made the Tropical Paletas yesterday... Both turned out beautifully! I love these pop molds! :) Read more

I am very satisfied with this product. I have made dozens of popsicles since buying these molds. They are sturdy, well designed, easy to clean, and easy to release the popsicles. They are a good size. Not too large, not too small. Definitely worth the money. Read more

As the product's description states, it is easy very to release popsicle. I have a silicon one, but this Zoku Classic Pop Molds is easier to release. I love the individual mold inside the green container because I don't have to take all of my posicles from my refrigerator when I want to get only one. Only one thing I don't care about was the drip-guards. I think it is helpful to keep my finger clean but makes it difficult to eat the bottom of ice cream, especially the edge of the guards. Also, once you insert a stick into a drip-guard, you cannot remove it. Over all, however, this pop molds are the best molds I have ever had. It is easy to pour into mold thanks to the oval mouth, easy to release thanks to the dual structure, and easy to wash. Read more

I read good reviews about these and they did not disappoint. I like their size, the sticks are long, they fit well in the freezer and they are fairly easy to release, even under cool water, you just need to be patient and gentle when pulling the top. If it isn't ready to be released, don't force it, just wait a few seconds longer. I like how you can freeze just about anything into a popsicle. Even though these were a little expensive, they are a good value as they are durable. Unlike store bought frozen treats (with loads of sugar), you can control what goes into your popsicle. I use calorie free monkfruit extract and to me, it isn't bitter like stevia. Read more

Amazon has a lot of different popsicle mold brands, but they are basically the same design . . . except for the Zoku Classic Pop Molds. The difference in the Zoku makes it the absolute best choice for a popsicle mold. The BIG difference is the Zoku has a sleeve for each popsicle. The sleeve allows it to be individually removed for filling and easily removed when the popsicle has been frozen and ready to consume. If you’re only going to eat one or two frozen popsicle, the easy-remove sleeves allow you to remove just the number that you want to eat. Frozen popsicles are my weakness. There are a number of different recipes on the Internet and YouTube on how to make popsicles using fresh, frozen, or canned fruits plus yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, lemon juice. I like trying different varieties of fruits for popsicles. TIP: As you try different popsicle recipes, there is a good chance that you’re going to have excess filling. The Zoku Classic Pop Mold is comparatively large compared to other popsicle molds so buying another one for the excess filling might not be practical if you don’t have the freezer space. My solution was buying 4 oz. or 1/2 cup square food containers with lids for the excess filling. The square plastic food containers are cheap and widely available on Amazon and/or grocery stores. Given their size, these are easy to stack in a crowded freezer. When it freezes, I eat it with a fork; but do NOT eat the frozen popsicle out of the plastic food container. Instead, place the container under warm / hot water and it will slide out and you can eat in from a cup or bowel. If you eat the frozen popsicle out of the plastic container, the container will crack. I know, mine cracked. Read more
