Great joggers with …. a zippered fly!
I wanted some good pants that had some stretch in them for walking and jogging, but also could be used as comfortable pants around the house or running errands (I’m retired, so not looking for pants to wear to work). All the jogging pants I’d looked at had no zippered fly. Why is that? Finally, I found these, and they have a zippered fly, and two zippered side pockets as well as one zippered back pocket. They have a very substantial elastic waist with an internal drawstring. The fabric is substantial, soft, and stretchy, and the inside of the fabric is polished and very comfortable on the skin. In my estimation, they are about half as thick as old-fashioned cotton sweat pants, but thicker than a lot of the stretchy activity pants I’ve seen. I got the Army green color which is more of a toupe (tending toward brownish green) than an olive drab, so they look really nice as regular pants. I have a 32" waist and a 30" inch inseam, and ordered a size Medium. they came with just the right waist, but the inseam is at least 31". I shortened them to fit, after I washed and them and ran them through the dryer. No big deal. By the way, they launder very well and dry quickly. I washed them inside-out. They are designed to be worn at the waist, not lower, like a lot of pants these days. I like to wear my pants at the waist, so just keep that in mind. The zippers are not very heavy-duty, but I think they will last with gentle use. The pockets are mesh, but well-stitched. So, all in all, I finally found some pants I can lounge in, jog in, go to the grocery store in, and not have to pull down every time I use the bathroom! And these are very affordable.
