The setup of this item is the only reason I would potentially take away a star, but now that I’ve been using it for a few months, I feel confident it is 5/5! This product works so well to mellow me out with some “me time” while also evening my skin tone and helping reduce redness. The changes are subtle and definitely take a bit to notice, but after about a month of regular use I noticed my skin tone was more even with less cystic acne or breakouts. It is not cheap, but for the quality, I feel the price is very fair for a nice red light face mask. It is easy to use once set up and I just prop myself in a pillow for comfort. The fit is good and comfortable, it’s small enough to not take up my whole bathroom, and I plan to continue to use long term for maximal benefits! Read more
The media could not be loaded. Red light therapy is rapidly becoming the holistic solution for all types of body issues. I liked this particular model by Zovie for its diversified flexibility. You can use this red light therapy mask not only for the face, but for your legs, arms, abdomen, and back. The arched 360 degree design of the product is large enough to use for your arms, legs, abdomen, and lower back. It measures just under 21" wide x 8.66" deep suitable. My wife and I use this product 2-3 times a week in 20 minute sessions. We like that it has 7 different lighting modes allowing for multiple combination colors making the experience that much more delightful. The stabilizer chrome piece keeps the unit uniform and prevents tipping over. I have taken it on several business trips for a spa like experience, but really for stress relief. This product has undergone 10 clinical trials further adding to its performance and reliability. You get multiple types of light combinations using your base colors of red, yellow, and blue. Blue is 423nm, Yellow is 583nm, Red is 640nm, and Infrared is 810nm. Choose your settings that are best for you. Your skin tone is improved with consistent use of this device. The mask setup is a lot lighter than I thought it would be. Pretty easy to set up, and it is like a mini spa at home! It didn’t take much effort to adjust the position for my face, and the mask remained pretty steady. It didn't cover all of my face, but I suppose that depends on face shape. I had some noticeable change in the way my skin appeared after a few sessions in the combination mode, particularly in places that were likely to be rougher by winter. The mask seemed to help a little with overall texture, though it’s subtle and requires regular use to see any benefit. This is a bit pricy, as it is not something that will make a huge difference. Just an additional aid that helps a little over time. Read more
I’ve been using this flexible red light therapy mask on and off for several weeks now (about 3 times a week, 20-30 min sessions), and here’s what I like — and what I think could be better: What I Like: – The build is comfy: adjustable straps, eye pads included, and it’s lightweight. Doesn’t feel like a bulky helmet. –My previous mask was/is the og hard helmet-like masks and this flexible design is 1000% better – Folds flat when not in use and slides right under my bed. – The 7 colors give you flexibility. I mostly use the red and near-infrared lights, but it’s nice to swap to blue or green when I want to target breakouts or redness. – Red light does seem to help: my skin looks more even, less dull, and I get fewer flare-ups and less redness around my nose and cheeks. – The mask covers not just my face but a bit of scalp at the hairline (because the straps let it pull up slightly), so I’ve noticed less irritation there. – USB rechargeable is a win — no fuss with replacing batteries. What Could Be Better: – Fit isn’t perfect. There are small gaps around my chin and nose where the mask doesn’t hug tightly, so those areas seem to get less effect. – The plastic/LED plate part feels a little rigid. Not painful, but after long sessions I wish it'd be a bit softer or more curved for my jawline. –If you’re using this on your face, you’ll need to just close your eyes, relax and listen to a podcast— there are no eye holes to watch tv. – Results take time. It’s not magic — you’ll need consistency over weeks to see more dramatic changes. Overall, I’m happy with this. For someone trying out LED therapy at home, this is high quality. If you expect instant transformations, you’ll likely be disappointed. I’ve been a consistent user for years and definitely think my skin tone has improved. If you’re okay with subtle but genuine skin improvements, this is very good. Read more
