we've had a wonderful experience with this machine. It’s very straightforward to use and the cleanup is hassle-free. The juice quality is fantastic! Read more
IT NICE THAT IT HAS AN EXIT FOR THE PULP. NEGIVITES WOULD BE 1) THAT AFTER USING IT FOR 10 MINUTES, YOU ARE TOLD TO SHUT IT OFF TO COOOL DOWN, 2) AND YOU HAVE TO CUT UP THE JUICING ITEMS INTO SMALL PIECES. BUT OVERALL IT WORKS GOOD, AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD. IT GREAT THAT IT HAS A METAL CUTTER, OTHERS IN PRICE RANGE HAVE PLASTIC ONES. Read more
There are several different types of juicers out there but this style is the most effective is my opinion. I think this juicer does a great job with certain kinds of fruit the best. Apples, oranges, melon, etc. Tons of liquid, minimal pulp, delicious. What I was disappointed by is the limitation on greens. The juicer did not like juicing kale or spinach, and it did not yield much liquid at all compared to a couple of other brands. If you mainly only juice fruit as it is, this is a great buy! Read more
The media could not be loaded. I am incredibly impressed with this juicer. I don’t normally buy single-item gadgets but I have an orchard that is finally beginning to produce and this was a good apple year. When the item came up on Vine, I ordered it. Last Saturday I had piles of apples that were slightly flawed - bird pecks, buggy on one side, or bruised - and I pulled out this juicer to see what it could do. Within a few hours - most of that time being my washing and cutting apples - I had several gallons of gorgeous apple cider. The juicer is incredibly easy to put together, super sturdy, and safe. It would not turn on if the lid wasn’t down, and the hole on the top is narrow enough not to admit any human appendages. I didn’t bother to peel my apples, and I found that the juicer actually juiced the apples faster than I could cut them. There’s a warning on the juicer that it should not be run for more than 45 minutes or something, but the machine juiced the apples so fast that I don’t think I had it on for more than ten minutes at a time, even when I had accumulated a big bowl of cut apples and had filled the top of the juicer and was feeding the apple pieces in as soon as there was room. The machine is powerful and while it did make some bad squealing noises now and then, it powered through the apples (see video). You can roll the dial in the opposite direction from ‘on’ to reverse the blade if anything gets caught, but I didn’t have that issue. While I was making cider, I was on a group chat with my brother and stepsister, and while I had never had any experience making cider, they both texted at length about how they had done this before and how complicated the process was. My stepsister in particular said she never pulls out her juicer because it’s such a hassle to clean. This Zulay juicer is super easy to clean and it also comes with two two-sided brushes to get into the littler spaces if something is caught. By the end of the day, my step-sister put her old juicer in her Give-Away pile and I believe she ordered one of these. My brother had mentioned that the press he’d used had involved screws and he’d been helping the orchard owner. The Zulay press is not large enough for any commercial application, but for the home kitchen, it’s super easy. It’s designed to be an every-day use item for busy health-conscious people, so it necessarily had to be easy and quick to use, and easy and quick to clean up. I have since pulled the juicer out again, for another batch of wind-fall apples, and easily made another quart of cider which was bagged and thrown in the freezer for hot cider when the kids come to visit. Because I hate wasting food, I did try to find recipes to use the apple pulp produced by the machine. However, the juicer is so efficient that my apple pulp was too dry for the recipes. I figure this is a good thing, and now the chickens are getting the apple pulp. I am VERY VERY VERY impressed with this machine. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve owned plenty of juicers over the years, but this Zulay Kitchen Cold Press Juicer has completely raised the bar. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this a thoughtfully engineered, premium-quality machine built to last. The stainless steel blades and overall construction feel solid and durable, with a fit and finish that speaks to careful craftsmanship. Even the way the pieces lock together shows how much thought went into making this juicer intuitive and frustration-free to assemble. The motor runs with a quiet confidence, and it’s powerful enough to handle tough produce yet surprisingly quiet for the job it’s performing. I can juice early in the morning without waking anyone up, which is a huge win in my house. Cleanup is just as impressive: everything rinses off quickly, and the smart design makes disassembly and reassembly quick and simple. The difference in juice quality is noticeable right away. Thanks to its slow 50 RPM masticating action and 4-part filtration system, the juice comes out rich, vibrant, and full of flavor with minimal foam. I also love knowing the reduced oxidation means my juice stays fresh longer, which makes it perfect for making a batch in the morning to last throughout the day. The wide 5" chute is a total game-changer. I no longer need to spend forever chopping everything into tiny pieces because whole apples, cucumbers, and carrots fit right in. This alone saves so much prep time and makes juicing feel effortless instead of like a chore. The included recipe booklet was a pleasant surprise. The recipes are creative, genuinely delicious, and simple to prepare. I’ve landed on two favorites right away: “Anti-Flame Elixer” and “Watermelon Ginger Splash.” Believe me when I say how minimal effort these recipes are. Another surprising find was when I had the juicer running and opened the lid to drop in some apple...the motor switched off immediately and when I closed the lid it went right back to work! Zulay Kitchen has absolutely nailed it with this cold press juicer. It’s powerful yet quiet, simple to use and clean, and it delivers the highest-quality juice I’ve ever made at home. I couldn’t be more impressed. If this level of thoughtful design and customer care is what Zulay Kitchen stands for, then I’d be proud to champion their products any day. If you’re looking for a juicer to kick up the quality and health of your beverages and you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate: this juicer is the real deal and worth every penny! Read more
