This milk frother is AMAZING! It’s powerful, easy to use, and makes rich, creamy foam in just a few seconds—exactly like it promises. I love that it comes with 4 Duracell batteries, so it’s ready to go right out of the box. Works perfectly for coffee, lattes, hot chocolate, and everything in between. Great quality and a great price. Highly recommend! Read more
Quality unit. Works fantastic 😊 Read more
I purchased this to take on an island vacation, unwilling to give up my ‘fancy coffee’ just because we were going to be nestled in a cove in an island sanctuary miles from anywhere. We also take lots of sailing trips and I figured this would be a good time to test drive it to see if it would be a worthwhile pack item. It overperformed! Lightweight, high powered, excellent instructions. It quickly foamed warmed milk beautifully, providing a cross between a latte macchiato and a cappuccino. Add a tiny squirt of your favorite flavor of Better Stevia drops (small, potent, no aftertaste, don’t spike your insulin) and the options are endless. Fast rinse under the tap or in a glass of water as soon as you’re done and put it in the stand to dry. My only gripe is that it doesn’t have a travel case! Read more
I have had this milk frother for almost 2 years. I use it every day and it makes my coffee even better. The cream is so thick, just like I like it. I want to say the best thing though was the customer service I received. My frother stopped working one morning. I switched the batteries but it still wouldn’t work. I went through the process at Zulay.com and it was great! They responded quickly to my issue and gave a resolution. For just a small amount for shipping they sent me an entire new wand, holder, and a second wand to either keep or have someone else try. I can’t say enough about how they took care of that process! Background: Today 10/11/2025 I tried for the first time the Zulay Tornado Triple Whisk Milk Frother. I bought the blue color with gold button and gold stand. I am an engineer by profession and my experience as a cook is limited to my own experiments with food. I bought this device mainly because I like to make thick foamy chocolate drinks of about the size of a cup. I like these drinks to be cold from the start. I got tired of manually stirring the mix to foam it and distribute the flavor, eliminating lumps and creating a smooth cold foamy drink. I also like gadgets and love to use them in my cooking. Thus, I searched the internet and found this frother. Its size looked like it fits the magnitude of my project and was capable to do what I wanted. It was well rated, and I like the story behind the company that produces them. First Impression: My first impression out of the box was that its presentation was great, but it looked very delicate. The finish on the body is well done and of good quality as well as the other parts. I like the golden stand, it does its job well, but it has these scratch clear tubing protectors at the end of the supporting rings that contrast negatively from its nice golden presentation. They look like a second thought to solve the issue of scratching the body of the frother. It is just a matter of taste and harmony in a product presentation. They do not affect the performance of the device. Most difficult Issue: To be able to use this device you need to install the two AA batteries. The orientation of the batteries was not the problem. It is the logical one for installing batteries but watch your polarity. It appears that the batteries are installed in parallel connection + to + and – to -. The issue is the size of the space allocated to the batteries. The installation is very tight and makes it very difficult to push the batteries inside the battery space. You must be careful and do a lot of massages of the batteries until you finally get them installed. There is a black ribbon to facilitate the removal of the batteries. Be sure you follow the instructions for its placement. Operation and Results: My evaluation here is based on what I wanted to do with this device. When I make these chocolate drinks I use chocolate powder, granulated sugar and milk. I put the chocolate and the sugar together and mix them using a spoon. After that I add a little cold milk and manually mix until I get smooth paste. After that, I start adding cold milk progressively and stir the mix and try to create a foamy chocolate drink. Now that I got my magic wand I tried to duplicate this using it. My first mistake was not enough milk to start the process. One thing to know is that you do not have speed control in this device. If you press the start button, you get full speed and power. They call it The Tornado. Well, it is one. I immediately ended up with sugar, chocolate powder and milk all over the counter and in my face. I believe this was also caused by the triple whisk that comes with this device. They have other models that only have one whisk and that may be more applicable to my operation because they are shallower and of lower effect. I believe that speed control could be a valuable improvement on this device. I cleaned everything and started again with more milk. I did not end with a smooth chocolate paste but a very smooth chocolate syrup. That was good and after adding the balance of the milk (about a cup) it mixed everything well and you were able to froth the mixture and create this delicious cold foamy chocolate drink better than anything I have done by hand. One thing I noticed was that if you submerge the whisk deeply from the liquid level, it will greatly slow down the motor to almost stalling condition. I must do that to ensure that I mix well all the chocolate syrup with the rest of the milk. If you bring it close to the surface it will gain rotational speed and will do its job of creating a nice foam. In summary, it does the job that it is supposed to do, and you can accommodate it to your ideas. Thus, it can be adapted to your desires. Cleaning: The metal parts are easy to clean but the finishing on the body being a flat semi-gloss texture keeps fingerprints and other substances on the surface, and you must clean it well and rub it for a good amount of time and still you will see marks. Remember, the body is not waterproof. Thus, you cannot scrub it with water and soap. Durability: I have not used it for that long but for the job it must do, I believe it can stand the work it was designed for. My only concern is battery usage. I believe they are going to be depleted fast with daily use. Read more
