ZULU Base 18oz Kids Stainless Steel Water Bottle with 3 Lids- Straw Chug Twist Double Walled and Vacuum

Originally I was a little unsure how I felt about this bottle because it simply didn’t provide the Hydroflask aesthetic and status. The reasons I am happy with this bottle as my one and only daily driver bottle are the body style and the lids. I don’t know who Zulu hired that was genius enough to accomplish this, what the design does is that it makes the bottle look smaller. Usually I’m the type of person that looks at a 40oz and thinks “why would I want a water bottle that big?” “It’s too much” and I still think that when I look at the 40oz Takeya my family has. When I look at this, it seems so much smaller, and so practical, only a little bigger than a 32oz - although in reality it’s the same size as the Takeya, just shorter and wider by a couple millimeters. They made the 40oz feel lighter. The lid simply does what every water bottle lid should do, the wide mouth lid has a thick ass, wide ass handle that is just really great. The chug lid has a great spring loaded opening that’s very comfortable to use, has no small moving parts, and still has a thick wide strong handle. Same goes for the straw lid. I remember having to walk around for HOURS in the Vatican in Italy with no rest due to the crowds, and being in so much discomfort due to the thin handle my water bottle at the time had. With this I could spend a whole day standing easy. The plastic feels smooth and sturdy, and looks very sleek since the top is so thin, and the threads are internal. Back to the design, the lid, super sleek, like mentioned above, and the finish is very 👌, the rest of the bottle looks cool af with the angles, and isn’t so out there that it looks cheap, rather, it looks very luxe. Maybe they’ll get more expensive once they take off, idk, but right now, this is it yo. Oh, they need more colors though, their selection now is fresh, but I could use some darker and brighter colors, like Eggplant, Terra Cotta, or Tangerine, please do that Zulu, and give the design person a raise. GREAT water bottle. I kept missing out on water through the day because I didn't have a chance to refill when working. This bottle holds enough to keep me hydrated all day even during my crazier shifts up to 14 hours. The best part about it is that I can throw the whole thing in the dishwasher and crash on the couch after work. I love the chug lid but there are also tops if you don't want anything or for a straw. All three options come with the bottle. Definitely worth it. It's highly durable and spring loaded top plus attached handle make it easy to carry around or throw in my bag's drink pocket on the side. I've tried a bunch of different - and more expensive - metal water bottles, and this is the best, for sure. Seriously. It's the perfect size, (I got the 24 oz version). Fits in most, if not all, cup holders. Has a good carrying handle. And has a great, leak-proof, built-in straw that has great flow to it - you don't have to pucker like crazy to get the water up it. I love it! SUGGESTIONS: * Make it a little wider at the top half of the bottle and a little thinner at the bottom. Just like maybe .25 inches. This will make the bottle accept ice cubes from the ice maker easier, while also making it fit in the cup holder a tiny bit better. It's a little tight as is. 5 stars for leak resistance, insulation and bottle design. Minus one star for lid durability. Love this durable Bottle! I live in Bali, where it is always warm and air conditioning is not common. This flask keeps my cold water (no ice) cold for a full day. I particularly love the Chug lid which is leak-proof and lets me quickly guzzle and rehydrate when at the gym, also I can drink from this lid without spilling when in the car. Unfortunately, this lid is not durable. The lip of the Chug lid has chipped, keeping it from closing and rendering it useless. I still have the other two lids, so I can use the flask still (which is great since shipping another lid to Indonesia would be a painful expensive undertaking). Read more

I bought one of these for my wife and liked it so well that I bought one for myself. She has the 32oz version and I have the 24oz version. We both really like the wide mouth lid because you can fill it up with ice right from the ice maker. A lot of others you'd have to reach into the icebox and put the ice in by hand. Our dogs are addicted to ice water so we bought another one (40oz) for them, they love it too! It comes with three different lids. We don't use the straw lid very much since we use them for daily chugging but they'll come in handy when we hit the road for vacations. The other lid is a closed top lid for transporting securely, we use that one for the doggies. Overall we are highly satisfied and would definitely recommend this product. Read more

We love this bottle. I love the screw cap option of not having to use (and clean) all the little straw parts. The smaller size is perfect for my son’s backpack and doesn’t make it too heavy. Also, this thing is nearly indestructible and keeps the drinks cold for a reasonable amount of time. Read more
