The metal cleats on these grab ice better than other styles that I've used. The silicone material seems to be of good quality. I found these were easier to put on with my boots off or sitting down. They go on easily and the adjustable velcro strap that goes around your ankle guarantees they will stay on your boots. So I can walk confidentiality on ice for about 2 miles. They don't stay on your shoe or boot securely. They twist. You need to straighten them out after a bit. But they do not fall off because they have that strap. A friend of mine bought a pair because she liked mine. I walk on ice all winter long, so I really need something that will keep me steady. Well packaged, arrived on time. Fantastic product. I'm in northern Minnesota; snow and ice bound. We have a long driveway, which is packed with ice and snow right now. So these ice cleats work great for walking the long driveway to check the mail every day. I wear a size 9 boot, but should have bought the extra large cleats to cover the entire bottom of the boots. But the large size works okay. I really like the velcro strap that straps around the ankle and keeps the heel connected. Great value for the money. Just be sure to get the next larger size than whatever size your boot is. Read more

These ice crampons are perfect for me. They fit my women' s size 8 boot, appear to be well made and work as designed on icy surfaces. This is very important as I now walk with an assistive device and am by myself. I have some peace of mind when I am outside in winter conditions. Read more

These do not fit, regardless of size. I purchased a large (which was my size) and the spikes that were supposed to be on the heel were way too far forward such that they were unable to bite the ice. So I got an XL for large size 10 snow boots, plenty big enough. While two of the four rear spikes were far enough back to grab, and the units appeared to be snug on my boot, they constantly slipped out to the side and once, completely off. It's as if the people who designed this never tried them on - certainly not with boots and not in the snow. Incredibly dumb design. Read more

I gave this product three stars because they did work in the snow and lightly covered ice. My micro spikes worked better for the ice. The reason I gave them only three stars is because my wife and I both hiked them and in a .4 mile distance .8 total round they came off the boot multiple times. We ensured proper fitment stopping and fixing them time and again just to get back to car. I would not trust them for our longer more aggressive hikes. They will used as a possible back up, maybe.
