Simple, minimalist design with very heavy bottoms. They're very comfortable to hold and drink from, without being so thick that you feel like you're going to dribble all over yourself. I have a set of Mikasa glasses that are very similar, but these are much nicer. Read more

Great hand feel. Nice and heavy. Perfect gift for a man or any whisky / bourbon drinker. They look very dainty and thin. Not the case at all. I thought I knew they were crystal but seemed a little plain. I was completely wrong. The clarity of the crystal and solidness if the glass is perfect. Not too fancy but can be. Purchased as a gift for a man with larger hands and he tossed all his other double d fashioned drink ware ( except the etched crystal ones I purchased him as well. Very well packed, not a single one arrived broken. Arrived in a box 3 times the size of the box they came in. The Schott Zweisel logo etched on bottom. Top rack dishwasher safe. Read more

I have wine glasses, champagne glasses and rocks glasses by them and love all of them. Went through several brands of wine glasses and all of them had some impurities or imperfections. Same for this kind of tall glass. But then after getting this brand I found perfection and beauty. So when I ordered these glasses I knew they would be perfect. Only downside is they don’t take to knocks well. We put them in the dishwasher but have to be careful when sliding in or out the rack they are on because they are so too heavy when upside down in the dishwasher that if moved too fast they can fall over pretty easily which makes them hit other things pretty hard and since they are so thin they don’t really stand a chance. I don’t fear breaking them in hand or when giving cheers with other glasses but they aren’t as forgiving to accidents like toppling as other glasses are. Well worth the money. They look superb and classy. Read more

I've had a dozen of Schott Zwiesel (SZ) wine glasses for a couple of years. We really like them and get a lot of complements. The titanium crystal is easy to care for, and very durable. My whiskey glasses were chipped and cracked from 25 years of use, and I decided to replace them. So I went back to SZ. and ordered these in two sizes, 5.1oz and 9.8 oz. The glasses are very nice. Not much style, but the heavy bases are good. These are glasses you would find in a high end bar. The smaller size is good for neat whiskey, and the larger for those who like ice in their drinks. I'd like to give them 5 stars, but for two design issues. First, the lip is very slightly rounded, and not straight cut like fine crystal. Second, the glasses are a bit slippery, when wet (ice condensation). I realize this is to be expected, but with an absolutely straight sided glass and no etching you need to be careful. With the smaller glass, not a problem, both because of no ice, and because it is small enough that you can completely enclose it in your hand. My adult son liked these very much. Finally, I have Waterford Lismore, in the same cabinet. I tend to reach for these SZ glasses first. Read more

I've been looking for glasses like this for some time and couldn't find quite the right thing. These are really wonderful. First, the crystal itself has incredible clarity, almost like a pure ice or something. It seems very strong, yet is rather on the thin side, which makes them very elegant. They are impressively hefty in weight and quite oversized in the hand. The pictures and description on the website don't do these glasses justice. For the price, they are an excellent bargain and I'm going to see what else this manufacturer offers. One other point that may be important to some people: The sides are pefectly straight (perpendicular) and don't slope at all like some double old-fashioned glasses (or at least mine). When I first opened the box and realized this, I thought that I might not like them. But it actually makes them all the more modern and elegant. Read more

I have a set of these I bought years ago. Use them regularly and wash in dishwasher. No problems. Bought some more for use at a different location. Three have broken so far. I’m not sure whether it’s the different dishwasher or a reduction in the quality of the glasses, but it’s very disappointing. Sadly, will have to wash by hand from now on and see whether that helps.
