Great for those who do a lot of food prep
These knives are excellent! I'm not a gourmet cook or chef, but I do "a lot" of food preservation and I've wanted a higher end set of knives for years. After much research, including talking to a couple butchers, I chose the Zwilling Pro set. Love these knives, they are comfortable to hold and they are sharp! (keep them away from little ones) I'm slicing through potatoes and carrots with little effort. These should last the rest of my life and maybe even my grandkids too. Not sure why someone thinks the knife block is cheap, mine is heavy with a wonderfully smooth finish and it does not look cheap at all! I cannot comment on the scissors as I do not generally use them for food prep...I will say they seem to be lightweight, but I don't feel they are worthless-they cut well....I just won't use them much. These knives are not a cheap knockoff. They are certainly spendy for the average person, but you will only buy once. My next purchase will definitely be the Zwilling matching steak knives. Read more
