Super soft to the touch, very smooth and lightweight. The color is gorgeous too, and could be used for either a girl or boy. I love the 2-way zipper, it makes putting it on and changing a diaper easy. The sleeveless feature is great too as you can layer with long sleeve onesie under it, or short sleeve depending on the temperature. I like having that flexibility vs long sleeve as it allows more use from it. I know baby will stay warm, and safe while in this and will be able to wear many months. I really love this 1.0 tog sleep sack for my baby. We use it every night and it’s been perfect for sleep. It’s lightweight but still cozy, so my baby stays comfortable without getting too warm. The fabric is soft and gentle, and my baby can move easily while still feeling comfortable. I’ve noticed my baby sleeps really well in it, which honestly makes bedtime so much easier. This sleep sack is definitely meant for the fall/winter time and it's been enjoyed immensely by my little one (when she can keep it clean). The sleep sack is rated 1.0 TOG, but I really think it is more like 1.5 since she gets pretty warm in it other than dressing her in one of those really thin onesie underneath. We've washed this a dozen times in the past couple months and it has held up nicely through the washer/dryer and still retains it's softness. Time will tell if it'll continue to hold up well with washing, but unless you need this for additional kids, I believe it'll perform adequately for the size (I got the 6-18 months).
