I put on the silver springs that came with it (softer and visible in the attached video), and with the metal cab, it makes the suspension function more like a real truck versus a simple plastic toy, as I've experienced with other crawlers. The metal cab can make the truck top-heavy in specific scenarios, but I enjoy the overall driving experience, as it felt more realistic than real-life overlanding. Good value. Read more

I was looking for a budget crawler for my son to join me. This came up on my search and we thought it looks really cool so wanted to give it a shot. Out of the box it worked really well. We couldnโt go outside since itโs raining pretty hard but just crawling around the house, on my keyboard, on my sonโs magnet tiles, this thing is pretty fun. We are not hardcore RC crawler people, I only have another one that Iโve been playing with. So I wouldnโt be able to compare to the high end that cost $$$. But really for the price, this is actually really fun. I suggest changing out the spring if yours have the gold springs installed. The silver ones are much softer so it have better droop. The media could not be loaded. Cool looking, I converted it over to 7mm hex so it would fit your scx24, trx4m, Ascent 18 Beadlocks. The stock shocks are STIFF, wowza! I took them out and put stock trx4m shocks in. My rear set has no springs and the front has a heavier duty spring. This body is HEAVY in the front. It is die cast. The motor will move it. It's not a high dollar rig.... The on off switch is directly on the bottom so when you go over an obstacles it'll turn the rig off ๐. Expect to relocate that ๐ค. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Solid entry-level hobby grade 4x4 RC. Basically a die-cast model you can drive! The components are easy to access and work on if you are into that. Comes with multiple shock springs for you to tinker/tune the suspension. This is perfect to get beginners into the hobby. Ok, figured I'd give this thing a try, even with all the reviews online. Boy did the reviews not disappoint. Don't touch anything along those truck. Not upgradeable. Just when you think "oh well I'll just put new tires and wheels." Nope. Wrong hex size. Proprietary as heck. 9mm. Ok cool I'll swap it out. Pin is proprietary. Ok cool figure it. Got it on there. Oh wait they won't spin. Because they decided to use floating plastic on plastic hubs... shock mounts, motor mounts. Just absolute trash. Barely drives, can't hardly crawl without tipping over. Just trash. Do not recommend. If you already ordered it, put it on a shelf or give it to a five year old you don't like. Read more
