Our young sons love this toy forklift and hook accessories set. It is well-made and has great detailing. The flashing LED lights and truck noises add authenticity and more fun! We have used some of the parts of the set to decorate a birthday cake which was a big hit with the kids! This is a very imaginative and entertainingly creative toy set. I was surprised at its size - - small. I just imagined it a bit bigger. Nonetheless, it has proven to be fun for our sons, and they have figured out the remote, with which I was initially concerned. My only worry is that when summer comes will it survive in the sandbox!? Probably not, but that is for a future worry. Read more

The forklift looks very realistic and does not feel cheaply made with metal and high quality plastic parts. The rear steering makes it drive just like a real forklift and it is surprisingly easy to control and fun once you get the hang of it. The actual lifting action works well, the little motor has quite a bit of torque for its size and what’s even better the forklift comes with multiple different attachments for lifting different types of objects. This is such an exceptional value toy for a boy, with the forklift and all its accessories, they can learn about construction sites, or even how to take a swimming pool. It is educational as well as functional, the pieces don't have any sharp areas. As always make sure it is age appropriate if your child is one who puts things in their mouth still, because there are some smaller pieces, but all in all this is a wonderful product, and a great value. At a 1:64 scale, the forklift itself measures approximately 2.5 inches long, 3 inches tall, and just 1 inch wide; about a quarter of the size I expected. That said, its compact size doesn't take away from the fun it offers. The controller takes a little getting used to, especially since the pivoting wheels are on the back, just like a real forklift. Once you get the hang of it, the controls are responsive enough for smooth operation. The lift mechanism is surprisingly strong for its size. you can pick up five U.S. dollar coins (around 5 ounces) and still reverse without issue. If you're driving forward, it can handle up to seven coins. One odd but entertaining addition is the trailer with a VW Bug.
