This record player is worth the money. It is very easy to assemble and looks good. The needle is professional quality and the belt drive does not seem like it will stretch and render the turn table useless. The sound quality is OK. A bit tinny but passable. For the money you cannot go wrong with this product. Read more

If you’ve come here looking for an attractive, all-in-one, medium-range (price and quality) record player, this is it. This is the one you want. Go ahead and put it in your cart. Or, if you prefer, read on, and you can hit “buy now” in a few minutes. Look, I’m a musician myself, so I’m certainly a music lover. And I’ve got good taste. I like nice things. But, I’m not laying down $1k (or more!) for a turntable and speaker set. And neither are you; otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading these reviews. Like me, you’ve got some vinyl and a decent amount of disposable income, so you’re looking for something a little nicer than the record-player-in-a-suitcase but not anything that will break the bank. I’ve got 50+ LPs, mostly inherited, and an equal number of 45s, also vintage. I don’t want to ruin them with low-quality needles and heavy arms; I don’t want them skipping due to flimsy arms and bouncy plinths. So, I did the research. (Unpaid, unsolicited, by the way) And this unit sits in that perfect sweet spot between “cheap” and “ridiculously expensive” (and frankly, pretentious). You get an exceptionally smooth and steady turntable, very easy to use even for rank beginners (my kids can operate it with minimal assistance); nice sounding speakers — nothing party-bumping, but the sound fills a modest living space without distortion; all with a stylishly understated classic vibe that’s unobtrusive and portable. (I easily carried it to class for my students to hear. They thought it was dope, as will you, my co-consumers.) Everything was in the package just as described, I had it set up in no time. Everything works as designed: Bluetooth functions well, within a reasonable but somewhat limited (10-15’) range. (“Limited range?!” Yes. But if you’re walking away with your phone in your pocket, are you really listening to the record player anymore? I mean, you can do chores in the next room, but you can’t walk the dog and expect it to stay connected! Lol) The cover stays on and stays out of the way; whether open or closed, you’ll not have trouble with LPs scraping the lid. It’s everything you’re looking for if you’re looking at $200 all-in-one record players — and it’s what you should be looking for if you’ve been shopping for a cheaper system but are scared off by the negative reviews. You don’t have to spend $1000 for a “good” sound system, but it is worth spending a little more to get something you’ll really enjoy and be proud to own. I promise, I’m not anyone special, and I don’t have a hidden agenda. I was here to review a crummy belt buckle when Amazon reminded me to review some other purchases. When I saw this one, I was like, “yeah, I’ll review it because it’s pretty awesome and I want people to have the joy of owning nice things on a budget.” Ok. You still with me? Then, “buy now.” Read more

Excellent beginner record player. I think this is a good value as it's an all-in-one setup and looks really great. It really feels built well. The sound is fairly good. It honestly depends on the record. Most of my records sound great. With a few others, like my Linkin Park albums, I felt like it struggled a little bit and lost some oomph on some songs. It seemed too much medium and lows at certain points in a song is where I tended to notice it. As others stated, the bass is not amazing. I knew there would be compromises with something at this price. Ultimately, I still enjoy the sound. This is less about having perfectly clear audio and more about playing music and just having it on while I hang out, work, cook, or have people over to visit. My only suggestion is this company should sell a $300-$350 version with better speakers. I would've probably paid more if I knew the sound was better. Thankfully I can hook up external speakers down the road if I want to upgrade that. Ultimately I'm very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend. Read more

Pleasantly surprised. I knew it wouldn’t be audiophile quality, but this player makes it fun to listen to music again. The all-in-one style makes it easy so you’re not messing with wires, preamps, or hiding cables. It looks good and has a vintage vibe which I wanted and honestly it sounds good enough for casual listening. I bought it about a week and a half ago and I’ve listened to vinyl every day since then. A couple little quirks: -the tone arm is plastic and cheap feeling and a bit tricky to get setup but once u do it’s fine. Just be aware of that. -I hooked up external speakers and no matter what I did they had a lot of hum. I don’t know if it’s the preamp or maybe just an issue with the grounding in my particular case but something worth mentioning at least. I did want to hookup external speakers at some point but not sure if that’s going to be an option. When I did hookup externals they sounded worse than the internal speaker because of the hum. -lastly if you walk forcefully nearby or move anything on the same table this turntable sits on, it’s likely going to skip. Overall really happy for the price! Glad I got it. Read more
