This is a great curling iron! It heats up super fast and is easy to select the desired setting. The 2 large clips it comes with are perfect for sectioning and keeping hair out of your way while your using it. I probably won't use the glove, but it's a good safety idea for beginners. This is a one inch iron - so it's not going to make super tight curls. However, it does make curls and styling is easy. I was able to style exactly how I wanted. The ceramic barrel really reduces frizz and made my damaged hair shine. I love that it is dual voltage, so can be taken on international trips. That, 30 second (or less) heating, 6 settings, and a ceramic barrel makes this well worth the $33 price. Read more

This is just the right size. The barrel is wide enough and long enough that you could do a spiral curl without having to do that hold open slide open hold combination. It Heats evenly and easily. The handle is long enough for a good grip. And all the buttons are within easy reach. This allows you to do your hair without having to stop and adjust things. The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, I must have received a faulty curling iron. When I turn it on and select my preferred temperature setting with the arrows, all lights begin blinking. At first, I thought this is what the iron must do as it reaches the selected temperature, but even after 10 minutes, the iron is perfectly cool to the touch and doesn't heat at all. That being said, I do like the 1" barrel size, and really like that the clamp for hair goes almost the full length of the barrel. This also comes with a heat protectant glove and two hair clips.
