I received this EpiPen holder for $6.99. The quality is actually very good. It feels sturdy and well made. The zipper is smooth plastic and opens/closes easily without catching. The lobster claw clip feels strong and secure and doesn’t accidentally pop open when clipped to a belt loop or bag. It only holds one EpiPen and you are supposed to carry two. The listing suggests ordering two. (I use this one to carry one on my body and my second is in my purse with a medallion label on an external pocket.) The holder is labeled on both sides in large letters. It is insulated inside and should protect your auto-injector from temperature swings within reason. It fits one full size EpiPen or TEVA style injector. It might fit two smaller Adrenaclick style injectors since they are much slimmer, but an Auvi-Q is likely too wide to fully zip the holder closed. This makes the epipen so easily found, it sticks out like a sore thumb, and the carabiner makes it so you can attach it to the zipper lining of your purse if you have that, or a belt loop, really anything. I know the colours on the epi pen are to help with the application, but blue and yellow just aren't noticeable, this makes it VERY NOTICEABLE. Which in an emergency, you need it easily seen and found. It fits the epi pen like a glove, and doesn't take up much extra space than the epi pen itself. My allergist has me carrying an epipen in case I have a severe reaction due to my allergies - though I’ve never had one before. This case makes it easier to carry the epipen. It fits my epipen with no issue. The zipper opens and closes smoothly. The metal clasp appears to be durable and allows you to hook it onto a purse or backpack, making it more accessible, rather than digging inside a bag. The material feels durable, giving me the impression that it will last a good amount of time. The bright red color and white writing makes it clear it’s a medical product. This is only large enough for one epi pen, even though I think most of us have to carry 2 with us. But, I like that it's bright red, and easy to find in my purse if I should happen to need it, or have to tell someone to get it for me. It's winter here now, so I can't really attest to how well it might keep it at the proper temperature, but it does look like it will do that job, based on my experience with similar linings. I was really excited to find this slim insulated pouch for my daughter for carrying one of her EpiPens. She always has them on her but this is such a bright and visible case, easy to find if it’s in her bag but also she’s able to just clip it to her bag if she wants. I do wish it came as a two pack, as it is recommended to always carry two on oneself. But the slim design is very portable and doesn’t add much extra mass or bulk. Really happy with this! Read more
