Cool breeze
Our AC died and while we save up for a replacement HVAC system, this has been a lifesaver! Just have to clean the filters every week or so. They’re washable, so no big deal. The only complaint I have is that the tubing doesn’t really fit well in our window for the exhaust. There’s a little gap underneath. Fortunately, there’s a screen in the window so that the bugs don’t come in through there. We have windows that go up & down. They give some double-sided tape that could be used to tape up the gap but it’s very difficult to get to because of a ginormous heavy sofa, etc. in the way. It’s on wheels so that it’s easy to move it. It’s totally on me — I probably should have gotten a window AC; it probably would have been easier for us to fit in our space. But, so far, this unit has been working for the past couple of months. You set the temp and amount of airflow you want. You can do a timer. There’s a remote but I haven’t used it.
