While this is great idea and it works really well, I'm embarrassed to say my dog doesn't get it. She doesn't realize that dropping the ball back in to this will make it launches again. So we've been putting the balls back in for her. We're getting a good 25 fest of air out of each ball, so out Rat Terrier has some run time, then chase on the floor time too. The balls dont really bounce, and I'm glad of that! So far she has not destroyed the balls like she will do with things like tennis balls. Read more

These balls are smaller in diameter compared to the balls that came with the original launcher. The balls don't launch the same distance as the original balls that came with the launcher. In my opinion, it might work better in terms of the distance on how far the balls propel , the original balls can potentially hit the dog (if you have a smaller size dog) and it propels pretty hard. It totally works. Launches the ball a good distance. Unless I can scour the world to find the same size balls you’re forced to use the balls to come with it. My dog is totally not into these balls so it’s almost like it’s pointless. So try to find something tennis ball size if you have a funny dog that only likes certain balls. But it works. It definitely shoots a ball. Kinda aggressively. Larger dogs may like it better. It makes a noise when balls are being launched.
