I use these cardboard tubes for tallow lip balm, And they do great! The hardest part is the initial pushing up after the tallow sets, but I find that using the end of a pen or spoon makes it a lot easier. I don't have any leaking issues. Read more

I agree with the reviews that mention these are not 1oz—.75oz at the most, but I can typically only fit .70oz. I measured out my ingredients for as many tubes as I was filling and wound up with much more extra. However, I don’t agree that they don’t slide while making your own lip balm with natural ingredients. I use both coconut oil and beeswax and tallow and beeswax mixtures and both slide easily. Tallow is best! I did find that one of the tubes didn’t have a flat bottom once had all been filled, so one of them leaked all over the place and I lost stock, but now I know to pay better attention before I fill them. Honestly, I’m not disappointed with these and will be purchasing again. I only wish they came in larger quantities so I wasn’t paying $1.20 a piece. Read more

Worked great and was well received when given as a gift. My only comment in general is this. Being paper, be careful when you fill so that you don't drip any on the tube otherwise you will have an oily stain. Not bad for yourself but not so good when gifting I had no trouble at all and would highly recommend! Read more
First, the tubes are super sturdy and a great alternative to plastic! But when you fill the tube, be careful that you don't dribble anything on the sides because it will stain the tube. Not an issue with the product, but more operator error. Read more
