This 4 gallon size bag is great for most trash cans and alleviates having bags tear or slip in use. The bags themselves are as advertised: strong...can contain unpleasant smells when closed. It's hard to find such bags and I am pleased with the product. The box containing them is flimsy and I had to tape it together, but the bags are great. Read more

Size is good. Quantity is good, tears easily though but good for just leaves or some trash. Read more

I love these heavy duty 4-gallon trash bags and have bought them a couple of times now. They are a great thickness, and I have no issues with any leaking or breaking. They are in rolls and tear apart easily without damaging the bags at all. They have no scent to them. They are a dark black and you cannot see what is in them when tied up to get rid of. They fit into my smaller bathroom garbage cans with no issues. I will continue to purchase these and recommend them. Read more

As mentioned by others, these are probably good for leaves, paper, or plastic, but that's about it. Anything heavy or even remotely pointy and the bag will tear. Even small scraps of wood will tear it. I wanted to use these in my shop as a large can liner, but they're not good for that. Read more

Not sure why anyone would rate these less than 5-stars. I hesitated on buying them. Didn't want black bags in my pails. I'm so happy that I took the chance and ordered them. This product falls among the roughly 15 or 20 products and services I have found in my entire 67 years that is a decent value AND performs as well as OR better than expected. I have jam-packed these with diapers...and I mean I stuffed the pail so tight that removing the bag was difficult because it was so tightly packed in there. No tearing or bursting at all. That's why I have no idea why others mention ripping or tearing. Maybe they are putting sharp things in them? The plastic is "crinkly" in texture. I like that because it makes them easier to open after tearing one off from the roll. Most plastic trash bags are softer or more "sticky" so you sometimes have to moisten your fingers to get a grip on them to pull the plastic open. Not these...they are not like those big black yard waste plastic bags that are softer plastic. These are "drier" (for lack of a better descriptor) and open fairly easily by comparison. I have a moral duty to provide an honest review, yet I'm hesitant at giving such a good review because I worry that too many people will buy them. Then I'll start running into out of stock conditions. Sigh...damned if I do and damned if I don't. But trust me, the bags are really good. The current price of $7 and some change makes them a decent value purchase, too! Read more

VERY VERY THIN ARE NOT USEFUL FOR CONSTRUCTION CLEAN UP! these are great for the kitchen, the occasional lugging of comforters to laundry or to collect clothes for donation. HEAVY ITEMS, old canned food and other pantry clean up items - needs a heavier/thicker bag. This bag is only good if you only fill half way, wasting the money and bag or if you do and it rips creating more work - dealers choice AND IF you are filling with clothes be careful on how heavy you may the bag - it will stretch and rip - this is a THIN bag. easy to tie no scent true to size i didnt count but quatity seems right. holds a lot of light weight items Read more
