1000 Thread Count Light Gray King Size Sheet Set 100 Egyptian Cotton Luxury Sateen Weave Bed Sheets Wrinkle-resistant

Finally, after my fourth attemp to find a set of sheets that are authentically a 1000 thread count (TC) and 100% cotton, I am elated to say that I actually found them! Previously, I had a set of 100% cotton Hotel Style 1000 TC sheets, which for the longest time I had considered the best sheets I've ever owned. Those sheets were what made me somewhat of a sheet snob due to luxurious feel of a 1000 TC. Unfortunately, though, they're not being made any more. I was beginning to loose hope that I would ever find a set of sheets that were up to par until I finally found these sheets, which are exactly like the Hotel Style set I had. Theses sheets incredibly thick, heavy, and heavenly soft - all the ear marks you want to see with authentic 1000 TC sheets. The fitted sheet has a nice deep pocket and a thick elastic band that helps keep the sheets in place. Also, the flat sheet has a generous over hang in the width and length. The sateen finish is what gives the sheets that heavenly soft feel while displaying a gorgeous sheen that really makes the color even more luxe. In description, they say the color is ivory, but I consider it more of an oyster (just as shown in the pictures), which I still like. The only odd thing I feel I need to mention is that these sheets are not the Supreme Elegance brand, but are another brand called Aireolux. I did some researching and to my surprise these sheets are being sold at other online retail stores at a higher price. Fortunately (at least at the time of this review), Supreme Elegance on Amazon is the only place where you get a real good deal and still have a wide rage of colors to choose from. I am very picky when it comes to my sheets. I first look at count, type of sheet, how it’s going to fit and then I read what other people have to say. Don’t usually write reviews but this one deserves it. The sheets were nice and thick. Had a satan feel and look even after washing. My biggest sale on these sheets was the pockets big enough. I hate having to get rid of sheets that wear out because they are not strong enough to stay in place at corners. Well I’m convinced these will last a while. First, they go way over the corners and mine are over 16. The elastic is wide which I love. I slept on them last night, felt very soft and I’m sure with time and more washing they will get even softer. Now yes they did have some wrinkles, but that’s no biggy to me. These are very nice sheets. The box that they come in is very pretty. If you are giving these as a gift, you could almost use that as a gift box. It makes them seem even more special. The sheets are very thick, and have a very slight sheen to them. When I washed them, they came out well and were a little softer. Cotton wrinkles a little but these do not wrinkle too badly. You can just smooth the few wrinkles out. They are very comfortable to sleep in. I have bought a lot of things on Amazon and often have to return them because of the quality. However, with these sheets the quality is excellent. They are expensive but worth it. Read more

Absolutely exactly what I was looking for! Comes in gorgeous heavy gift box with sheets wrapped in label signature ribbon. Perfect for gifting newlyweds. The sheets are heavy weight but silky soft. We have an extra thick/deep mattress with pillow top and have struggled with corners slipping off from a variety of different brands. The STRUGGLE is OVER!!! I have never seen such robust 1 inch thick elastic heavily reinforced at the corners to make sure the corners don't pop off with tossing and turning. Different in a bad way: Bought the gray and loved them so much subsequently ordered the green. Not smooth and "sateen" like the gray, but rough and wrinkly, thinner material, and feel like what I can get for half the price at a local big-box store. The elastic is also very different. The gray has "stays in place true grip" elastic that is fantastic. The green version have plain covered elastic. Color is supposed to be "pistachio green" but is actually army green. Meh. Read more
