I have bought a lot of different easels and displays for my tradeshow setups to display art prints and various other items I make - and I bought these on a whim to test not realizing how much I was going to love them. They hold display copies of journals I make from my art perfectly and more sturdy than other easels I've tired in the past. And I love that they break apart to flat pieces. I bought a little makeup bag and threw them all in there and so they are super easy to travel to shows with, lightweight, set up and break down effortlessly, and actually hold my journals nice and sturdy. Acrylic stands are exactly as pictured. Easy to put together, just be mindful that it is a possibility you could damage your stand if you use too much force as you combine the two pieces. They work to stand my books, 5.25"x8", without the need of additional support. Adjustable base was perfect for my books of differing widths. Base is unintrusive to the art work on the front of my book covers. Also, the flat base helps to keep my books from being warped, unlike the stands that are curved. I'm very happy that I was able to find these stands. The other book stands offered on Amazon had too shallow a base to fit my wider stories. Read more

Overall I do enjoy these but with how far back the bottom piece sticks out, it makes it so the books sit away from the edge and hard to put things behind the books unless they can be positioned around the base of these. I did find a couple of these to be tough to put together (but that's like 2 out of 36 I ordered) so there's some inconsistency but all-in-all they're great, look professional, and keep my books upright perfectly. The media could not be loaded. I use these to display my special edition and most loved books. They are sturdy and hold up extremely well. Love them so much I placed 2 orders for them. They do excellent on hold those books upright for display without the covers bending or curling up. They hold all kinds of books from little to those big coffee table books. They do not come with directions on how to put them together but it's pretty simple. Read more
