Cooks really really high even on the lowest setting. It's a good size and can hole a lot, but I wish we could actually use it to cook things slowly. Also, the temperature knob falls off very easily and is complicated to put back in and have it stay. Read more
Good size and shape, but temperature settings sucks big time,,, burns everything on very low setting, no use for higher settings at all,,,, feels like something malfunctioning,,,, bought it to use for Shabbat, now will use it for different purposes,,, dangerous to use for Shabbat,,, very disappointed Read more
The first time I used this, the temp was SO LOW on setting 1 that the food spoiled. The second time I used it, it was so high that the food burned. The temp control is terrible and doesn’t accurately cook at a slow cooking temp. I sautéed onions in the pan on the setting 1 because it was so hot…and then the knob just broke! Do not recommend. setting 1 feels like setting 6.. it burnt through the base and aluminum holder. Heat setting is dangerously high. temp control on all the settings is inconsistent. the knob fell off and broke in my hand and pin fell out and made it further unusable. I called customer service - no one to speak to. This piece is garbage and dangerous. Do not buy. Read more
