I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a new couch, because honestly with 3 kids and a dog, it just wasn’t worth it. I chose this one because it fit my budget and was the right size for my family of 5 to all gather on comfortably. It’s so soft and the fabric has been easy to clean. Plus, it hides dog hair well lol. I came in a million pieces but I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It’s sturdy and comfortable and I have no complaints after about a month of use, my kids have been kids on it and my husband is about 220 so I have been impressed with how sturdy it is. I read a lot of the reviews. Most of them are true. It was a little difficult to put together, but it's a MASSIVE couch. I just assumed it would be, based on the size and I was right. It's just the shear size of it. My husband I had it put together in a couple of hours. Nothing crazy. The reviews I read say that the couch is very firm. It is. But personally, I love that. It's still comfy and cozy, but firm and springy. The back cushions are thin, but honestly not that bad. And the ottoman is pretty nice too. Word of advice: start putting it together where you want it to end up. After we finished putting it together, we realized that we didn't like where it was and ended up having to turn it completely around. It was a pain. Overall, I really like this couch. My condo is a small decent size. This sofa is a perfect fit. It held 4 “fluffy” adults. So, it passed the sturdiness test! It is just as the picture. I bought the light gray. I would’ve liked the back to be a bit taller for more back support. That’s nothing 2 pillows won’t fix, but I would’ve loved to be pillow free. Plus side is that since each section is individual, you don’t necessarily feel the movement of the person next to you. I also tested the sleeping position and it passed that test as well. It is on the firm side, not flimsy which is good for fluffy people. :-) Update: it is still holding strong. The fabric is not removable to wash. I spot clean. Cushions wear away after a few months and become indented in between each cushion. I enjoyed this couch as first but I’m only a year in and I’m already looking at new ones because of the appearance. It is pretty sturdy, and I love taking naps on it. Read more
