We use Oral- B toothbrushes at home, so we are always buying the replacement heads. Buying the name brand gets expensive, so I'd found an off brand that I thought was a great deal. Well this one is even better! They fit perfectly and work just fine for the vibrating motors. They work well to brush and remove buildup without feeling harsh. My 5yr old uses these with no problems and since the heads are fairly small, they work well for her. I'm quite happy to have found these replacements with such a good value, and we won't need to reorder for some time! Read more

As other reviewers have reported. I too received 16 toothbrush heads, not the 12 that were advertised. I'm usually okay receiving more than what's advertised, so I didn't remove any stars. :-) In the past I've tried other no-name "compatible" replacements that were less 'compatible' and much less effective than the OEM branded items, so I was hesitant regarding the quality and effectiveness of these. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are very good quality and nearly as good as the originals (not quite, but very close). The bristles are soft (not too soft) and seem to have rounded tips (not the sharper, square cut ends found on most "compatible" products). I haven't been using them for long enough (only a few days) to know whether or not these have the fading color bristles found on the OEM product that indicate when replacement is recommended, but I don't think they do. The actual shape of the bristles mimics (but does not exactly match) the shape of the bristles on the OEM product, but it seems to be very similar in effectiveness at reaching around and between teeth for effective cleaning. I suspect the the more tapered shape of the originals is due to a more sophisticated manufacturing process that adds significant cost. One of my pictures shows the OEM product (white) next to this "compatible" product (black) side-by-side for comparison, clearly showing the difference. While I can feel the difference between the two while brushing, for me it's neither an unpleasant or effective difference. All in all, I have to rate these "compatible" replacement brush heads as at least 95% as effective as the OEM product, with an enormous difference (savings) in price, making them an obvious solution to avoid what I consider the absurdly inflated price of the OEM brush heads. These toothbrush heads fit my Oral-B Pro 5000 just fine and seem to be fully compatible. They seem to work just as well as the brand name ones. They do seem a bit softer than the original brushes however. The brush design also took me a little while to get used to. The longer outer row of bristles are only on the top and bottom edges unlike most other brush styles I've used where they go all of the way around the brush head. This is also probably why they feel softer as well. The set came with four 4-pack packages so I received 16 brush heads total, with 8 white and 8 black ones. They may not be quite as durable and last quite as long a the brand name brushes, but with so many in the package, it's probably better to change them out more often anyway. Overall, I think these work fine at cleaning my teeth, and the price is great. Read more

These replacement heads are well made and fit my Oral B Pro 1000 perfectly. When inserted, they click on solid with no wobble or loose feel whatsoever, just like the original Oral B heads. The bristles are also firm and not harsh on my gums - no so soft that they feel useless, but definitely not stiff and stabbing either. I’ve used this head in my rotation for my morning and evening brushing, and I feel its cleaning capabilities are similar to the brand heads. The bristles get into hard to reach places between my teeth, along the gum line, and I have not noticed any weird wear/fraying after several weeks of use. The blue indicator bristles fade nicely letting you know it’s replacement time. The construction quality seems solid. The white plastic housing is tough and the bristles are anchored nice so no shedding while in use. These come in a multi-pack, which is a huge money-saver compared to the price of a lot of official Oral B heads, and the quality is very much there. If you need replacement heads for your Oral B electric toothbrush, these are a solid buy. Read more
